1. Finding frozen salmon on sale. It was only about €8.55 per kilogram (normally it would be around €10 and frozen fish is usually around €15-17). I baked it in the oven and it tasted GOOD!!! ;-D This is the FIRST time I could afford buying fish HUE HE HE HE HE HE...so I'm SO HAPPY!!!!!
2. A few seconds ago I received payment already from BuyBlogReviews. What a PLEASANT surprise!!! I wrote my first assignment for them on January 1st, but I got paid already today! I was thinking that I'd only get paid on 15th. THANK YOU SO MUCH, BuyBlogReviews!!!!
3. Making my own risoles - it took me 3 hours. Yes, I'm a slow cook. It took me an hour to make the wrappers - just like regular thin pancakes (flour, baking power, eggs, milk, a pinch of salt). Then it took me another hour to make the filling hi hi hi hi...and to add this and that so that it tasted delicious!!! Then it took another hour to roll them on eggs and bread crumbs and then deep-frying them. But they were SO VERY DELICIOUS!!! This is my first attempt, so I'm SO happy I could make them EXACTLY like I liked them!!! (I'm gonna post the pic later on, OK?)
4. The anticipation rising inside me 'coz I'm going to bring some risoles for my Brit friend tomorrow. I hope she likes it. After all, she likes spicy food and I added some hot chili imported from Holland to the filling HE HE HE HE HE...
5. Being able to play with my Brit friend's pets tomorrow. She has 2 cats, 2 kittens, one puppy, and one dog HE HE HE HE HE HE HE...YAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!
1. Feeling RICH BEYOND BELIEF. I just can't believe I have SO MANY BLOGGER friends right now whom I can consider TRUE friends. Plus I get to learn A LOT from each and every one of them and I get all the support and encouragement that I need. I LOVE this life! My cup runneth overrrrrr...he he he he he he he he he he...2. Seeing a cute bird landing on our balcony he he he he...3. Listening to Choc Mint Girl's Christmas music choices...SO SERENE and PEACEFUL! 4. Hubby saying VERY VERY sweet words to me. (He doesn't do it too often, which surprises me whenever he's in the mood of saying such things)...I felt like flying to heaven already when he said those words to me and my eyes got a bit wet HE HE HE HE...YIIIIPPPIIIIIIEEEEE!!!!! ;-D
****** Just to remind myself of his words...when he smiled so happily as he went home for lunch today, I told him that it was as though he had won a lottery or something 'coz he looked THAT happy. He said, "Of course I did. I married you. You make me happy."
5. The anticipation I feel to go to the cabin. YEEEEEEEEESSSS!!! We're gonna bring some drinks and hamburger and sausage and cook them in the fireplace. Plus we can put the drinks outside to make them cool he he he he...Natural fridge!!! Prediction: it's gonna be around 0'C this Saturday he he he he...6. Going to another Finnish class today. After taking a break for two weeks (last week the teacher got sick), I can't wait to have my classes again. Plus I get to meet my friends HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO...
1. Calling a friend who lives in Indo by using Skype even for just a few minutes felt AWESOME!!! Thanks, Skype!2. Hot sausage soup with jalapeno chili. Jalapeno chili gives a kick to my soup. YIIIIHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! 3. Watching lots of birds flying about happily to and fro. Cute, CUTE, CUUUUUTTTEEE birds!!!4. Being able to see the world through other people's perspectives. Such a privilege!!! With my "preferred isolation", I get to know more and more aspects of life that way.
5. The anticipation burning in my heart for my hubby's return from work. I MISS HIM!!!!!! I MISS squeezing hiiiimmmmm with all my might!!!
6. We have Spiderman 3 on our HD. Downloaded yesterday. Tonight we're gonna watch it together while eating chips (I've asked hubby to buy some as they're on sale HI HI HI). YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!! Bliss!!! ;-D
