What Language Do You Use In Your Head?

I haven't been blogging in a long time, have I? It's always harder to get back on track once you haven't been in the flow of things for a long period of time. It's almost like going back to your exercise regime or starting a new one after a long break. My tennis elbow problem is still under control, though depending on the days and what activities I've done and the kind of exercise I do, there can be more symptoms (pain, tightness, etc.). I know for sure that I still can't handle the normal amount of work, so I've talked to my bosses about it. It's a long road to recovery, but I'm positive about healing.

A friend of mine had the same problem and it took her two full years to recover, but even then she warned me that it could happen all over again if I were not careful (maintaining the right posture at work, doing enough exercise at home). So I've been doing more exercise and I've walked more (instead of riding my bike) these days. The arms don't like certain kinds of exercise movements, but I'm only able to find out about it afterwards, so it's a bit of a trial and error in terms of trying out different kinds of exercise programs.

A FB friend posted this video in her newsfeed and I tried it right away. My left arm was giving me a full-blown headache when I was doing this (didn't happen with the right arm) and I actually felt a bit nausea as well (just like what she described in the video), but I felt so much lighter afterwards. She's also uploaded lots of other videos (a few others I've also tried).

I've also been massaging my back and shoulders with the massage stick I got as my birthday present last year (as per my request). It's been helping me a bit, too. I've been using at least two rolls of kinesio tape, since for some reason my skin doesn't like it when I use it in the sauna, even though some people can keep them on in the sauna with no problem whatsoever.

Anyway, a few weeks ago someone asked me what language I used in my head to think. I answered, "English, Finnish, and Indonesian." I use Indonesian the least these days compared to English and Finnish, so my Indonesian is getting rusty. I noticed this during the Skype call I made to my mom about a week ago. I struggled in finding some words and only the English and Finnish words came out (along with the image of the words I wanted to convey to her) LOL!!!

The weather has been pretty warm these days (nearing or a little above 0'C), though there's still oodles of snow everywhere. Here's a photo I took a while back. I received some long-stemmed roses, but my vases were all too short, so I ended up having to use a Lion King pitcher for them ha ha ha ha ha...

3BT: Random Days

1. Enough me time (recharging time) at home where I get to do whatever I want, which includes kicking my ass to exercise more. Love the endorphin!

2. When the thermometer shows that indoor temperature is cooler than outside temperature. Summer is on, baby! :-D

3. Reading a magazine at MIL's place with the sun on my back and the wind blowing the leaves, creating beautiful shadows on the living room floor.

4. Being reminded again as to how precious my husband is. How patient he has been with me and how he's never made me feel like an idiot nor has he ever told me that I'm stupid or an idiot.

5. The things we take for granted: the ability to walk, to eat, to sing, to hear, to drink on our own without anybody's help.

6. Older blog posts that remind me of some details that I've either completely or half forgotten.

7. Finding the old songs that have been playing in my head because someone have compiled the songs in a youtube video. I watched these wuxi series on VHS tapes when I was little (except the last one on the list). The women used to be my heroines: the kind that knew martial arts and could therefore protect themselves ha ha...And I used to try to imitate their hairdo. Ahem...:-D How nostalgic!

8. The roses have finally started blooming. YEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!

9. Clearing up my computer desk because husband had bought a new bookshelf, so I could move the piles of books to an empty shelf. Nice to have more space!

10. Printing some raindrop photos and putting them near my computer desk and one photo on the kitchen wall. Every time I look at them, I remember the feeling I had when I took the photos: I felt like a fairy in a fairy land, surrounded by thousands and thousands of beautiful raindrops.

First Summery Day

I've been busy this holiday week with spring cleaning, a car trip, and garden cleaning that I haven't had time/energy to blog or blog-hop. Last Monday was the first summery day here. The temperature was 21'C, so I decided to go on a bike ride because I also needed to buy some groceries.

Here are some photos I took. The grass in the photos aren't green yet, but they are green now. :-) In less than just a week there are so many buds already showing up here and there and the green grass just makes it clearer that summer is here, though the nights can still be pretty cold.

Sign of summer: sandals! :-D It felt nice to ride my bike without having to wear any jacket ha ha ha ha...Btw, those sandals are kiddies' size (that's why they're decorated - size 35). Cheaper than adult sandals LOL!!! :-D And yes, in the fourth picture you can still see some ice in the river, though it's melted away now.

That day I also saw two ducks in the river, so here are two photos...In the second photo, the duck was staring at me LOL! :-D I love the track it leaves behind, don't you? :-D

I spent two days cleaning the windows and changing the curtains ha ha ha ha ha...also did more exercise, which was good, too, though I overdid it twice, so some days it was hard to get up and move (my legs were especially sore) LOL!!! I've taken more photos ever since Monday, but I'm going to share them later.

Team Sport

I've never really been a sporty girl. Actually there was even a time when I didn't like sports at all ha ha ha ha ha ha...but I know the importance of exercising regularly and I do want to stay healthy as long as I can, so yesterday as usual hubby had his Wii exercise regime again, but this time at the end of it he played tennis, so I joined him and paired up with him against two other random players. It felt SO good to win and each time we won, we'd hug each other (sweaty bodies LOL!).

Then I told him, "Now I know how good it feels to win a team sport!"

I was never really that good at sports, either. I think the only thing I was good at was probably running, though I can't say that I do like running now. Back in Junior High School we had such a strict sports teacher that always always always told us to run lots of laps at the beginning of each sports lesson. It was so boring and I always had to be the leader (because I was the shortest, you see). They separated the guys from the girls. One time we were told to do a few more laps because the teacher thought that we were going too slow, so ever since then I always tried running a little faster because I didn't want us all to get punished, but ever since then the ones at the back kept on relaying messages to me to slow down ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

In High School we didn't run as much as in Junior High and what was worse was that we didn't get any sports lesson at all during the last year, so I was in pretty bad shape at that time. I started becoming more interested in exercising again when I was at uni. I bought some used foreign sports magazines and I'd follow the exercises written there (remember that at that time the internet was still a new thing so it was still cheaper to buy used magazines) he he he...How time flies! Nowadays you can watch anything online and you can download so many things online.

glitter-graphics.com

Anyway, these days I'd exercise using some exercise videos and youtube videos (Taebo, Core Rythym, Belly Dancing, Zumba) and Wii. I'd choose different videos/programs according to my mood. In spring/summer I feel that I exercise more because there's more sunlight, but in winter I tend to get lazier and I really feel I need to push myself more to exercise in winter. However, I'm the type that prefers to exercise at home compared to going to the gym/running outside he he...

Are you good at sports? Are you the sporty type? Any fave type of sports? Do you like exercising outside/going to the gym?

3BT: Random Days

1. I managed to deal with the additional shifts even while I was feeling under the weather. Crossing my fingers that I won't get sick!!!

2. The flower-giving grandpa came by the store to do some grocery shopping when I had just finished my shift, so I quickly went to the cashier, bought some flowers, wrapped them with some paper, taped the receipt there, told my coworker that I would give them to a grandpa (so that she wouldn't charge him for the flowers while showing the receipt that I had taped there), and then went to find the grandpa and told him that they were for his wife. Felt GREAT to be able to return his favors!!! He's been giving me flowers on many occasions already!  :-D

3. Taking these pictures made me feel happy...

4. A grandma complimented my voice! Ha! It's never happened before in my entire life he he he he...so I'm gonna cherish the memory hi hi hi hi...:-D

5. Finally getting a few days off in a row. Phew!!! Now I can catch-up with blogging and blog-hopping. :-)

6. Finding a suitable gift for someone as well as another souvenir for Ken's little brother. And having the budget to buy both is something I'm THANKFUL for.

7. Joululimppu (a kind of Christmas bread) with delicious smoked salmon made by Kiveliön factory, eaten with a slice of cheese and chili sauce! YUMMY!!!!

glitter-graphics.com

8. Knowing that MIL's heart is working well (no blockage). She went for a check-up in Rovaniemi hospital last week and the result was OK. No need for surgery or anything. Phew!

9. Have to teach a coworker to do something and I've finally finished writing down my list so that I remember everything I have to teach her. :-D

10. Finally exercising again after not having done it due to my busy schedule and being slightly under the weather. Felt GREAT! :-D

11. Almost forgot: A coworker asked me if we had kids and I said no. Thankfully she didn't pry whether we wanted kids or not or anything else. She just accepted the answer. YEEEEEEESSSS!!! :-D

3BT: Random Days

1. A customer bought a few stuff but then realized that she had 30 cents less than what she had to pay. When I was asking her what item she wanted to take out, the guy behind her immediately said, "Don't take anything. Here, let me just give you 30 cents." The woman thanked him profusely. :-D

Sure it wasn't a big amount of money, but not everyone would do that and it's lovely to witness something like that. :-D

2. My first batch of summer holiday is coming soon and we're going on a week cabin trip. WOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Can't wait!!! :-D

3. Thankful that in this tough economy, we still have jobs and we're still able to do some budget trips on our holidays.

glitter-graphics.com

4. My BPPV symptoms have been much less and less severe in a short amount of time and I'm even thinking of exercising again. My body's itching for a real exercise. Here's to regaining health!!! :-D

5. A friend's dad's bypass surgery went very well and it seems that so far the recovery period has been well, too. HALLELUJAH!!!!

6. Reading this prayer that I found accidentally:

“Prayer of an Anonymous Abbess:

Lord, thou knowest better than myself that I am growing older and will soon be old. Keep me from becoming too talkative, and especially from the unfortunate habit of thinking that I must say something on every subject and at every opportunity.

Release me from the idea that I must straighten out other peoples' affairs. With my immense treasure of experience and wisdom, it seems a pity not to let everybody partake of it. But thou knowest, Lord, that in the end I will need a few friends.

Keep me from the recital of endless details; give me wings to get to the point.

Grant me the patience to listen to the complaints of others; help me to endure them with charity. But seal my lips on my own aches and pains -- they increase with the increasing years and my inclination to recount them is also increasing.

I will not ask thee for improved memory, only for a little more humility and less self-assurance when my own memory doesn't agree with that of others. Teach me the glorious lesson that occasionally I may be wrong.

Keep me reasonably gentle. I do not have the ambition to become a saint -- it is so hard to live with some of them -- but a harsh old person is one of the devil's masterpieces.

Make me sympathetic without being sentimental, helpful but not bossy. Let me discover merits where I had not expected them, and talents in people whom I had not thought to possess any. And, Lord, give me the grace to tell them so.

Amen”

7.  Small epiphanies that allow me to understand some things even better than before. I cherish them with all my heart! :-D
8. Hubby for making me laugh a lot 'coz of his antics. :-D

Addition: Just had a full blown exercise - sweating and all that. Now I feel VERY VERY fresh. WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Feels WONDERFUL to be able to exercise again. :-D

3BT: Random Days

1. Hubby upgraded my computer and had to change my mouse into a bigger one (the old one had to be taken away 'coz the port behind the CPU had changed, so it didn't fit anymore). I then complained that it was a bit too big for me (I have small hands), so immediately he went online to order a smaller one. BLESS HIM!!!!

2. Hubby's been having some holiday (due to accumulated overtime) and it's been LOVELY to be welcomed back home from work with tight hugs. :-D

3. Got two nice surprises (I'm afraid I can't tell you what they are 'coz it's private, but I just want to cherish them) he he he he he...

4. Peeling onions wearing swimming goggles WORKED!!! I didn't even shed a tear during the whole peeling and chopping process! YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!!

glitter-graphics.com

5. A customer came by and told me that she had read my blogs and enjoyed them. THANK YOU!!! Your words of encouragement are well appreciated! :-D What a nice surprise!

6. Muscles that are a bit sore after an exercise and a shower. Endorphin rush is awesome! :-D

7. Accidentally finding old songs in youtube that you had forgotten and then being able to enjoy them once more.

8. Watching this fun video clip

Snow Fort

It's been pretty warm these days. That meant we've got lots and lots of snow again. Yesterday and last week I spent 1,5 hours and 2 hours respectively to clear the yard from snow. Had to move some of the old snow to make room for new snow and due to my height, I couldn't use the big shovel to do that. That was why it took a long time to do it 'coz I had to use a children's shovel he he he...Good exercise, though! My arms are definitely sore afterwards.

Wanna see how high the pile of snow is in our yard? Today I went out just to show you the "snow fort" that we've built in the yard. I use myself as a point of reference (I'm 145 cm).

First pic: normal pose. Notice the higher pile on the right side of the pic. We have another pile on the left side of the pic which is probably a little bit higher than that.

P.S. If you're wondering what the yellow "armband" is, it's called a reflector. Because it can get SO dark here in winter (and it can get worse when it's snowing a lot), people wear it so that car drivers can see us when we're walking on the pavement or when we walk across the road. Esp. in the village roads there are normally no sidewalk for pedestrians, so pedestrians have to walk on the side of the road.

Second pic: tried to pose from one of the higher piles of snow.

Third pic: I was going to go higher up on the pile of snow, but managed to slip and fall down gracefully LOL!!! Actually if I want to, I can use this pile of snow to slide down. LOL!!! There's one benefit of being short HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHHHH...

Here's also a pic of a homemade Christmas gift that I got from my talented friend. :-D

And the last pic is the icicles forming around the bottom side of the roof...

Let's just see how much more snow we're going to have 'coz winter here lasts a long time still...if there's so much more snow coming later, it's going to be tough to find space to pile up the new snow.

3BT: Random Days

1. An old woman looking so happily surprised to see me at work. She said, "Oh, I haven't seen you in a long time. I'm GLAD you're still working!" ---> Honestly I don't even remember her, but I'm HAPPY to hear that she's SO happy to know that I'm still working in the same place. :-D

2. Free youtube exercise video clips. They really help me in doing different types of exercises when I'm bored with the exercise routines I've been doing.

3. Fast and reliable internet access that enables me to watch those said youtube video clips.

4. Receiving this lovely homemade Christmas decoration present from a friend.

5. More snowwwww!!! And the weekly temperature forecast showing below 0'C even during the day! :-D

6. Watching two squirrels playing in and around the branches of a tree.

7. Cleaning up the snow from the yard. There's something so serene about doing that in the middle of Winter Wonderland.

8. Lovely lovemaking - plus the fact that hubby just knows what to do TENDERLY! :-D

9. Watching "While You Were Sleeping" again that made me feel mushy mushy inside. :-D

10. Hubby buying pizza so that I didn't have to cook he he he he...It's nice not having to cook sometimes. :-D

11. Putting up Christmas lights. (Yep, the picture below #7 is the close-up look of the Christmas lights below)

3BT: Random Days

1. A customer told me, "Don't EVER stop working here! I'll be disappointed if you stop working here." :-D :-D :-D

2. Gave the little girl whom I adore (who also likes me) some candies. :-D

3. Spring is finally here. Though there's still some snow left in the yard, but yesterday I spent half an hour sunbathing on the swing while reading a novel.

4. Going back to my regular exercise regime after not having been doing it regularly for months.

5. Taking this silly picture and making MIL giggle so much. Note: Actually R2 was the one who inspired me. He was eating some candies and he bit off a little bit of one part of the candies and shoved both candies to his teeth to make "fake fangs" so I followed suit and R2 took this pic.

6. Knowing that MIL has many friends who take her out on a walk or invite her in or do other things with her 'coz it doesn't seem that FIL can go back home to live with her anymore.

7. MIL has been going to sauna with us here once a week and we've had fun playing cards together in our kitchen table.

8. Doing spring cleaning (only halfway done), but it feels GREAT to have a clean house.

9. Having some days off due to Easter holiday and being able to relax at home with hubby.

10. A few days ago I got my return tax information (which will be transferred to my bank account in December) and this is the first time I can get MUCH more than I thought I could get ('coz I had started working last year). WOOOOHHOOOOO!!! I can save the money in December!!!

11. Having a caring, understanding immediate superior who laughs and smiles a lot and who works well under stress. I don't think I can handle it being in that position.

12. Finding a pair of cute sandals in a local auction online shop for Ken (which I hope are still too big for him so that he can wear them later). :-D

13. A few days ago I ordered a not-too-expensive outdoor grill (to be used with coal). Can't wait to grill some food outside. I'm dying to grill some fish and eat it with soy sauce with chili!!! :-D Maybe I should invite my MIL, BIL and SIL to have a grill party sometime. :-D

14. Being able to understand jokes when customers throw some at me. A few years back I felt stumped 'coz I had to have jokes translated by hubby to me and it's just not fun to have to listen to translated jokes 'coz then it's not fun to "laugh later on your own", so I'm THANKFUL to be able to understand jokes.

15. Having a hubby who rarely complains (the only time he complains is when he's frustrated about fixing a computer or gaming or when there's a long queue, but other than that he rarely complains) and I don't want to take that for granted.

16. Sense of humour and people who smile. :-D

17. Hubby's making pancake today. WHOOOOPPPPEEEEE!!! :-D

3BT: Random Days

1. MIL hugging me tightly and saying, "My daughter." (Note: She only has 3 sons without any daughters)

2. Taking this pic - I'm READY to fly to the moon and back (or to the new planet and back?) LOL LOL...

3. My kangkong plant is still going strong - still growing so well despite the fact that I've been keeping it indoors ever since the weather became colder. Here goes:

5. Going back to my in-laws' house yesterday 'coz hubby needed to change his tyres into winter tyres and he kept the tyres there. Boy, how I missed the place!

6. Noticing that some of my MIL's roses, which were put in the hallway of the house, are still blooming beautifully despite the fact that some of them have wilted.

7. Eating one of the most delicious chocolate torte ever!!! I LOVE the moist texture! :-D

8. After not having exercised for a while (due to my illness the other week) and despite my laziness, I managed to kick my ass and start my exercise regime again. YAAAAAAAYYY!!!

9. Daydreamingggg about something hi hi hi...

3BT: Random Days

1. Fresh peaches on a hot summer day. When I lived in Indo, I had never eaten fresh peaches - just canned ones (and I LOVE those canned ones too!) But still no canned peaches can beat fresh ones! Yum yum...

2. Feeling surprised when I saw the rose bush in (almost) full bloom today...look at these lovely pics!

3. Watching droplets of rain water on the flowers' petals:

4. Finding discounted DVDs in a supermarket and now that I have some spare time, I can watch them in peace.

5. It's nice to have a part-time job instead of a full-time job 'coz then I have time to tend to my garden, to watch the above DVDs, and do many other things.

6. Hubby's initiative (can't tell you what he did, though) LOL...

7. Finding a new type of flower blooming in the garden. If anyone can tell me the name of the flower, I'd appreciate it!!! The diameter of the flower is about 3.5 cm.

8. Exercising some parts of my muscles that I didn't know existed with my Wii CD. Felt GREAT after I finished my exercise. Can't wait to do more exercise tomorrow (to help me sleep earlier 'coz gotta do a morning shift on Thursday). :-D :-D :-D

9. Both my parents are OK and enjoying life and my brother and his family are OK too.

10. Thankful that summer here isn't THAT hot - we can survive well without air-con or even a fan. All we need to do is open some windows during the day.

11. Mosquito net for the windows! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

12. Thankful that the first floor of our house is rather cold, so it's comfy to sit inside the house even on such a scorching day outside (it's even cooler than outside on such hot days).

3BT: Random Days

1. Hubby for having changed many cables in the house and having rearranged many things neatly and added new light switches to make my life easier. LOVE to have a thoughtful hubby.

2. First day at work went TOO fast that it was blurry - I had no time to think nor be too anxious 'coz I spent half of my working hours there to be in the cashier. Made mistakes and made the line of people wait a couple of times when I had to call my senior to get help, but at least most of the customers were patient enough to bear with me, the newbie. A few were curious enough to find out where I came from and they were really nice to me: one of them even said, "Hey, it's nice to see a new cashier! 'Coz we live nearby, we're going to meet often as this is the closest store to our place". :-D

My MIL also dropped by as promise to find out how I was doing and I met another familiar face who always smiles at me whenever we meet. They brightened up my day! :-D

3. The fast-paced working environment meant that time flew and before I knew it, I had finished my shift HA HA HA HA...

4. Seeing lots more yellow wild flowers blooming in our own yard (they hadn't popped out before)...simply GORGEOUS!!!

5. The "exercise trick" on Sunday worked 'coz I could fall asleep earlier at night to make sure I had enough rest before starting my work shift at 7 am on Monday.

6. They've added another work shift this week, so I'm gonna work every day for a few hours (at first I didn't have any shift on Wed). This is good, esp. 'coz R2's leaving to Helsinki today to do some kind of computer training and he'll only be back on Sat afternoon. That means I will have plenty of things to do while he's away - plus the more hours I get, the more money I can get HE HE HE HE HE HE HE...

7. Eating this zesty, minty rice at my friend's place. Rich of flavour!

8. Making my own Wedang Ronde and they taste SO good!!!!

9. Being surrounded by dandelions in the HUGE field in my in-laws' place. On the second half of the video, you can see the strawberry field (covered with net) and the dandelions were still asleep 'coz it was rather cloudy. I took the video from the second floor in my in-laws' place 'coz that was where we spent the night.

10. Almost killed a pot of flowers given by an aunt when I moved them to a bigger pot and added fertilizer. However, noticed that they got dried and and the flowers started to die one by one, so I changed the soil again and this time I didn't add any fertilizer and now they start blooming again bit by bit. So they just didn't like fertilizer!!! ;-D

My Coldest Day: - 31'C

Today is the coldest day I've ever experienced in Sodankylä. The temperature was -31'C when we went out to work and now it's very slightly warmer at -29.5'C. When walking home, I could feel my cheeks freezing SO FAST (they started to hurt after a while) and my eye lashes started to freeze too...and my legs started to feel the cold, too! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

At -25'C with the outfit I wore today, it was cold but bearable...but when it becomes THIS cold, I think later on I should wear more layers, especially if I have to be outdoors for some time. I was thinking of visiting a flea market after work, but decided against it since I just wanted to be in my warm apartment he he he he...

One thing I realize that when it's -31'C outside and I've been walking outside, when I come inside the library or my apt., I don't really want to take off my anorak or shoes or gloves or woolen hat right away, since I still feel the cold seeping inside my body. Quite an experience, actually! I think I could almost see ice formed on the ends of my eye lashes, but I'm not so sure he he he..

By the way, yesterday one friend from our course came to the library to visit me. Turned out she wanted me to teach her English. She's Russian and she doesn't speak much English, so I have to use Finnish to teach her English. We'll start tomorrow evening. We'll see how it goes. She said that she'd bring the books with her, so I don't have to prepare anything he he he...We'll just use the books she has. Sounds good to me!!!

Okay, time to exercise before blog-hopping!!!

P.S. One work project is done and I've taken one pic of it (but I haven't uploaded it yet, so I'll show it to you later, OK?). Now I'm doing the second project. Still have NO clue what to do about the third project, but I'm in no hurry he he he...

3BT: Random Days

1. Watching MIL singing one children's song joyfully while dancing a little hi hi hi...I tried finding the song on youtube, but I haven't found it yet. It's a very fun song! ;-D

2. Hubby scratching my baccckkkkkk a few times on different days. Ohhhh...orgasmic!!! ;-D

3. I had such a gassy stomach the other day and I felt SO satisfied for being able to fart a few times secretly at work without anyone being my "victim" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...It feels GOOD to be able to fart, babbyyyyy!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!

4. Seeing the wicked glimmer in hubby's eyes as he wraps the gifts for me inside our bedroom HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO...What are they, I wonder? Well, I can guess already one of them, but I have NO idea what the other one is hi hi hi...

5. Talking to my colleagues and two of them said that it's good that I'm going to continue my training until 3 months there and that I've been helping them. It's GOOD to feel useful!!!

6. Having encouraging colleagues who voice their appreciation of me. What more can I ask for, right? ;-D

7. Found two used, CUTE pipo (woolen hats) that cost me only €1 each. I needed a new one since I lost my old one!

8. Starting my exercise regime again and feeling my mood lifted up INSTANTLY HO HO HO HO HO HO HO...Plus my trousers start to feel a bit more loose after just exercising twice! The other week I weighed myself and I was at my highest EVER at 48 kgs (remember that I'm only 145 cm and when I first came to Finland, I was only 43 kgs hi hi hi...). I DO NOT want to buy new clothes, thank you very much, so I'd rather exercise more often and cut back on snack he he he he...

Wanna Try HIIT?

A friend of mine recently wrote about HIIT in his blog. If you're thinking about slimming down, maybe you should read this post of his. I'm also trying to do this since I want to slim down a little bit before going back to Indo he he he he...

It doesn't take a long time to do HIIT, though it is a TOUGH exercise (runners may love this exercise). I can't even do it 5-6 times in a row yet, especially since I usually do it at the end of my Taebo sessions HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...but I'm trying to build up my stamina. ;-D

Curious about HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)? Go here:

Diet Pills Consumer Reviews

Are you on a weight loss program and you're thinking of using pills to help you, such as Cheap Phentermine? Well, before you decide on taking any pills, you should click on the link to read what other people have to say about their experiences in taking those pills.

The website provides consumer reviews on different types of diet pills. A friend of mine once used some type of diet pills to help her lose weight prior to her wedding, but she got the prescription from her doctor and she continued seeing her doctor for a check-up to make sure that everything went well. She has stopped taking them, though, but it did work for a while.

I've never taken any diet pills, so I can't share any experiences, but health is indeed very important and we should make sure we eat a healthy diet, we exercise regularly, and we get enough sleep every day as best as we can. Other than that, if you're over 30 years old, you should probably consider taking a multivitamin every day to stay fit.

Cheers to health!!! ;-D

Girls' Day Out

As you know, I've just met my friends. I decided to walk there since I thought the exercise would be good, but I almost got lost HI HI HI...I'm NOT good at directions!!! I did look it up on the map first, though. The first time I went there, hubby took me there and he picked me up. Since I walked there, I had to go through a different road, so everything looked very unfamiliar hi hi hi...However, I was GLAD that I found it after all! I was getting thirsty anyway hi hi hi...

It should have taken me about 20 minutes (max.) to reach her house, but in the end it took almost 30 minutes since I went to the wrong parts of the roads hi hi hi...I almost gave up and I wanted to call hubby to ask for directions, you know?

It was FUN, though we got distracted a lot since there were FOUR females there plus two babies and a 3,5-year-old he he he...I got to hold one baby for a while (glad he didn't cry) HI HI HI...I'll show you the picture in a while. Since we were so busy talking, we didn't get too many chances to take pictures HA HA HA HA HA...But that's fine since there're zits on my face, anyway hi hi...

We decide to hold a weekly meeting (if we can make it every week) to socialize and to discuss Finnish in general. We do need every practise we can get. I'll let you know how it goes next Tuesday (we decide to meet next Tuesday at around 11 am). I have nothing much to do except blogging and buying stuff to bring to Indo, so it's WONDERFUL to be able to meet the girls again he he he he...

OK, now I've uploaded the pics. Here are they:

The above baby boy is around 6 months old. He's a BIG TALL baby!!! I held him in my lap for a while HE HE HE HE HE...He loves kicking and he's STRONG! ;-D

The little girl there is about 8 months old. She enjoyed playing with the boy's toy HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...

Here are the mothers with their babies. My other friend Michelle was also with us, so I'm the only one without any kids yet he he he he...

Anyway, remember the 2-in-1 Chess Station I ordered for my Dad from ebay? Well, Helsinki PO is holding it right now as they want me to give explanation as to what's inside the package, so I sent them an email about the whole thing and I attached the emails concerning my order, as well. I HOPE it gets sorted out ASAP and I don't have to pay too much since the chess station itself doesn't cost too much (only around €22). Maybe they don't believe it since I found out that it's quite a heavy package (around 1 kg).

Oh well...WISH ME LUCK then! I don't care even if I have to pay the customs tax as long as it's still reasonable, but I just don't want it to arrive LATE 'coz then I won't be able to bring it to Indo!

Time to blog-hop!!! ;-D

P.S. I've also written down my FIRST post in the third blog:

This blog will be about my journey in learning Finnish and I'll post good links on learning Finnish online and I'll also share the things I've learnt "the hard way" he he he he...

The End of Another Training

So another training has ended. On the last day, my MIL's big sister came by with her husband and as usual, the 76-year-old lady gave me a tight hug HE HE HE HE HE HE...We talked for a little while. ;-D

Another old Finnish couple came by to see the same Sodankylä's old photo exhibition in our office. Upon seeing me, they were so curious about me, so they started asking questions. The one thing I loved about them was that if I seemed confused about their questions, they'd rephrase it in a simpler way. ;-D

Ahhh...it feels a little bit weird being at home again, you know? I know I have tons of things to do: blogging, learn more Finnish on my own, thinking of what else to bring home and buying them, starting off my new Finnish blog, writing down posts in my draft so that when I'm in Indo my blog isn't empty, etc. etc. etc.

But first of all tomorrow I'm going to meet my friends YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!! I wanted to do it last month already, but then I got busy with the week holiday and then the training, so I didn't have time to arrange a meeting. I'm going to go to my friend's house and then two more friends are coming there, so it's gonna be SO MUCH FUN!!!! HO HO HO HO HO...

I also should add more exercise this month as I don't wanna diet HI HI HI HI HI HI...I can almost taste already all the GLORIOUS food that I can eat in Indo...yum yum...I think the other night I also dreamt of meeting so many people in Indo. Yeah, now I'm having INDO FEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR HE HE HE HE HE HE...

Anyway, last Friday I was busy cooking for my in-laws. I cooked Chicken Teriyaki and Indonesian Fried Rice (with oyster sauce and sweet soy sauce and some chili). I'm GLAD they liked them HE HE HE HE...I thought that the taste would be different from typical Finnish food, so I wanted them to try. I'm going to bring some more Indo spices later on so that I can also introduce other types of Indo food to my in-laws. ;-D

Okay, now let me continue studying Finnish a little bit. I'll blog-hop later on!

3BT: Random Days

1. Being hugged by my MIL and seeing her brush some happy tears from her eyes after she read the Mother's Day quotation book I gave her HE HE HE HE...

2. The smell and taste of freshly-baked garlic bread. Crunchy and yummiliciousssssss...

3. Finding out from Juliana that my PR is up!!!!!!!!!! THANKS A LOT, Jul!!! ;-D That means I can write ads again to save money for my trip to Singapore. If I can really be diligent, I think the trip will be 100% sure HI HI HI HI HI HI...I'm TRULY psyched!!! *HUGE GRIN*

4. Talking much more than usual to my MIL. It feels nice to be able to understand more things and to be able to communicate more.

5. Seeing hubby's smiles and staring at him (distracting him while he's watching TV and making him so self-conscious that he tries to block my face away) HUAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...

6. Feeling the hot shower "massaging" my sore muscles after I exercised. I bet I'm gonna sleep REALLY well tonight ho ho ho ho ho ho...
