HA!!!! I finally did it! I cut my own hair last night. Arttu didn't help at all except to cut just a few strands of hair that were longer than the rest at the back of my head which I obviously couldn't see.
I think I didn't do the job very badly, even though I managed to mess up my fringe HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...So, I need your honest opinion. What do you think of my new haircut? I'll show you the picture of before and after HE HE HE HE...The before picture was taken last October, so my hair was actually longer than this prior to the cutting adventure (I just couldn't find a nice picture of my hair without being covered by a pipo in January or December!).

And here we gooooooo...my new haircut hi hi hi...Tell me the truth, do you think I look like a D I S A S T E R????????????

OK, OK, so the bottom isn't too good, but what can you expect, right? HE HE HE...After all, it wasn't easy to cut one's own hair ha ha ha ha...
Anyway, yesterday I received another book that I won in eBay (What to Expect When You're Expecting). Arttu brought the book home from work and I was a bit confused since I hadn't received any notification about it. The postman had come already earlier without any notification about it. I asked him then how he found out about it and he just giggled like crazy. He said that he just knew. I couldn't believe it! Impossible!
The naughty guy kept on giggling and wouldn't tell me. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHH!!! After he had fun giggling and making me confused, finally he admitted that his friend who worked at the post office had called him to tell him about the package. GRAAAWWWWRRRRRR!!! How could I forget that his buddy worked at the PO? HE HE HE HE HE...
Oh well...so now I have three new books to read. OHHHHHHHHH JOY he he he he...OK, I'm going to blog-hop now! ;-D

5. Giggling uncontrollably when hubby made SUCH A FUNNY face. He's really a clown!!! I couldn't believe he could show such a funny face. Even now while typing and remembering it, I want to burst out laughing HI HI HI HI HI HI...CHEERS to being forever young since I have to live with his sense of humour HI HI HI HI HI HI...
6. Finding plums on sale. Believe it or not, I'd NEVER bought fresh plums before in my life and today was the first time I found them on sale. LUCKY ME!!! ;-D
7. It's Friday. ;-D
8. Hearing birds chirping while walking to the post office this morning. Mmmmm...SO beautiful! ;-D
***** I wrote the above list before I heard the news about my uncle. Even though today I heard that my uncle was dead, it reminds me that death is what makes life SO precious. Life's so fragile, yet precious...........

"Death is psychologically as important as birth. Shrinking away from it is something unhealthy and abnormal which robs the second half of life of its purpose." - Carl Jung"It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live." - Marcus Aurelius"It is hard to have patience with people who say 'There is no death' or 'Death doesn't matter.'' There is death. And whatever is matters. And whatever happens has consequences, and it and they are irrevocable and irreversible. You might as well say that birth doesn't matter." - C.S. Lewis"Has this world been so kind to you that you should leave with regret? There are better things ahead than any we leave behind." - C.S. Lewis"Life is but a brief moment. The years go by quickly and old age arrives suddenly before we have an inkling. People desire so many things and waste their days in vain. Some yearn for gold, others for power, yet others for glory and a higher station. But when death's moment nears and they look back at their lives they've lived, they realise they've been happy only during those moments when they've loved." - Borje Vahamaki
Quotes taken from here.
1. Hubby warning me to be careful since the pavement and streets were slippery. ;-D
2. Sending two more postcards at the post office he he he he he he...and seeing SO MANY people there sending cards and gifts to their loved ones. Ahhhhh...such an interesting thing to see!
3. An old woman taking another old woman on a ride with her kicksled. The other old woman was sitting on the kicksled's chair. Mmmm...quite a sight to behold!
4. Finding cheap oranges!!! Only €0.99 per kilogram! YIIIIHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
5. Almost forgot!!! It's interesting to see that in the post office you can take some postcards or cards and once you're done writing the address and your message, you can queue and tell the postman, "I just took the cards from the racks." So it means they have really great trust in customers. You can NEVER do such a thing in Indonesia - leaving so many boxes, wrappers, envelopes, cards, postcards just like that (in an open place) where you can "steal" them easily, but over here it seems they don't worry about people stealing stuff.
ADDITIONS:
6. Receiving a postcard from my German friend (used to be my penpal, now my emailpal) who now lives in Sweden.
7. Receiving some more money transfer from writing ads. HUA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...Let's save more money, Babyyyyyy!!!!!
