It seems I've been so lazy in blog-hopping or blogging these days. I don't know why. Maybe just not in the mood he he he...
Well, today I'm SO happy 'coz I've won one bid in ebay. Yesterday my brother told me that he'd love to get an Arsenal T-shirt of one of his fave players if I could find it in Finland. I immediately browsed online and found several sites, but turned out that everything was MUCH more expensive if I bought it elsewhere (rather than ebay, I mean).
Yesterday evening I started bidding for one particular signed T-shirt, but alas, I lost in the end since there was another bidder who really wanted that shirt and kept on raising his bid. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR he he he he...
So today I was determined NOT to lose, even though I had a certain budget in mind and I wouldn't go over that budget. *GRIN* I saw one bidder already this morning and there was about 4 and a half hours left to bid, so I instantly put my maximum bid there with the hope that nobody would outbid me HE HE HE HE HE HE...
After lunch break, I checked it again and turned out I WOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!! Another bidder lost by 11 cents HI HI HI HI HI HI HI HI...
I sent an SMS to my brother right away and he was SO happy! At first he asked me how much it cost 'coz he wanted to pay for it, but I told him not to bother as I was the one who asked first what he wanted me to bring, anyway.
It feels FANTAAASSTIIIIIIICCCCCCC to get a GREAT bargain and make somebody else happy HE HE HE HE HE HE HE...
And today I TRULY want to thank GOD 'coz I've got enough money to buy that shirt for him. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, now time for me to make some burger steaks and I'll blog-hop tomorrow he he...

Stealing Kisses on My 2nd Day at the Course
Well, this morning Sleepyhead me had a HAAAARRRDDDDD time waking up. Last night Arttu asked me what time I wanted to get up and I said 7 am. He woke up at around 6.45 am and then my alarm rang twice, at 7 am and 7.10 am, but I fell right back to sleep and managed to dream about something as well!!! I only woke up when Arttu came into the room with a smile on his face HA HA HA HA HA...
THANK YOU SO MUCH, Darling, for waking me up with a smile and not a frown!!! It certainly made my day MUCH sweeter!!!
After I got myself ready and prepared lunch and everything, I realized that Arttu had left his three mobile phones at home. Two of them are his and one of them is from his office. I was wondering whether I should have brought them with me since after all, my classroom is right next to his office. However, I wasn't sure that he would be there (he goes out a lot to fix computers and ATMs in banks or schools, so he doesn't stay in the office all the time). So I just walked to the course. It was -16'C, but funnily enough, I found that it wasn't as freezing as before. Interesting!!! Especially after walking fast for 5 minutes HA HA HA HA HA...
Today's lesson was fun in parts, since there are several funny people in our classroom. We had a few laughs and I'm looking forward to that again. We also conversed during lunch break, so it was good to get to know one another even more, even though I haven't really spoken to some of them yet ha ha ha ha...
And I got to steal a few kisses from Arttu. *HUGE GRIN* -----> This is probably the BEST part of the day HUA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...
You see, he called me during my lunch break to ask if I wanted to come home with him. I said no since I had packed my lunch already, so he went home by himself to have lunch and when he got back to the office, I was just about to enter my classroom, so we stole a few kisses outside my classroom. And then I went to the toilet and we ran into each other again and I stole a few more kisses OOOOO YEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!! It felt good to feel "naughty" when nobody was looking HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...
Ahem...OK, well, I learnt many more things today, even though I knew most of them already, but I got to learn some more new words and I got to practise speaking to my mate. I sit next to the Turkish guy and he speaks good English, so we always pair up. His wife is Finnish and he's only been here for two weeks. He lives in Ivalo, farther up north in Lapland, but he actually says that Sodankylä is much colder than Ivalo. Interesting!!!
The Thai girl also doesn't live here, so she and the Turkish guy rent an apartment here (different ones, of course). I think the Turkish guy will learn Finnish quickly since he's pretty determined. Plus he obviously has a knack in learning languages, since he is good at English and he also speaks a little bit of different languages. He used to work in a travel agency, so he picked up street languages. He also lived in Germany and Italy once, so he picked up both languages. For someone who hasn't learnt Finnish at all, he's learning very fast. ;-D I think the Thai girl's the only one who's going to be in BIG trouble, since her English isn't good, so it's gonna be SO difficult for her. Poor girl!!!
My Brit friend MC isn't going to my course full-time anymore since she has to take care of her own business, but she's going to come every morning until lunchtime, then she'll go home. Her husband is going to the course full-time, though.
Oh well...I can still follow the lessons pretty well so far, but I need to learn more on my own as well so that I won't be "lost in translation" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...
Okie dokie, time to blog hop and right after that I'll study and do my homework. It's not a difficult homework yet. I just need to prepare a few questions to ask my desk mate he he he he...
I'm sorry if I can't visit all your blogs every day since I really have less time to blog, but I'm going to try to visit you whenever I have time, OK???
P.S. Today two other books I won in eBay arrived. They're both in PERFECT shape, so I'm REALLY happy. Even though they're used books, they really look like new. Well, one of them is actually new, so it's really a SUPER GOOD bargain he he he he he...
All in all, all's well that ends well. That's my conclusion for today HE HE HE HE...I certainly hope your day's been as fun as mine.

My Adventure: Cutting My Own Hair
HA!!!! I finally did it! I cut my own hair last night. Arttu didn't help at all except to cut just a few strands of hair that were longer than the rest at the back of my head which I obviously couldn't see.
I think I didn't do the job very badly, even though I managed to mess up my fringe HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...So, I need your honest opinion. What do you think of my new haircut? I'll show you the picture of before and after HE HE HE HE...The before picture was taken last October, so my hair was actually longer than this prior to the cutting adventure (I just couldn't find a nice picture of my hair without being covered by a pipo in January or December!).

And here we gooooooo...my new haircut hi hi hi...Tell me the truth, do you think I look like a D I S A S T E R????????????

OK, OK, so the bottom isn't too good, but what can you expect, right? HE HE HE...After all, it wasn't easy to cut one's own hair ha ha ha ha...
Anyway, yesterday I received another book that I won in eBay (What to Expect When You're Expecting). Arttu brought the book home from work and I was a bit confused since I hadn't received any notification about it. The postman had come already earlier without any notification about it. I asked him then how he found out about it and he just giggled like crazy. He said that he just knew. I couldn't believe it! Impossible!
The naughty guy kept on giggling and wouldn't tell me. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHH!!! After he had fun giggling and making me confused, finally he admitted that his friend who worked at the post office had called him to tell him about the package. GRAAAWWWWRRRRRR!!! How could I forget that his buddy worked at the PO? HE HE HE HE HE...
Oh well...so now I have three new books to read. OHHHHHHHHH JOY he he he he...OK, I'm going to blog-hop now! ;-D

I Love eBay!
Well, I have no credit card, but since the money I get from blogging for money is transferred to my Paypal account, I can start buying things online he he he he...
The other day I wrote a post about planning to have a baby at the end of this year and one friend of mine suggested some books to me. She gave birth to a lovely baby girl last year and she said that she had found the books useful. THANK YOU for the book recommendations, Mey!!!
Anyway, I tried looking for the books online. Turned out that some online Finnish bookstores sold them, but they were quite expensive. So I tried finding them in ebay. I don't care whether they're used books just as long as they're cheap hi hi hi hi...After all, with the dollar currency being much lower than Euro currency, I figured that even though I had to pay much for the shipping cost if I bought books from the USA, the total cost would still be cheaper than buying those books in new conditions from Finnish bookstores.
And ta-daaaa...I did find three of the four books my friend recommended and I had bid on them. I won two of the bids and I'm waiting to win one more bid. I know that reading pregnancy/birth/child care books doesn't mean that I'm going to remember all of them when the time comes, but I love being ready. And I figured, why not? After all, those people who wrote the books must be experts, right?
Oh well...honestly speaking, I had to curb myself when I browsed through ebay. It was true what they said there: Be careful 'coz e-baying can be addictive HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...
If everything works out well and I win the last bid, I'll get 3 books and I only need to pay around €28 (including shipping and handling). If I had bought the books in Finland, I had to pay at least €13-17 PER BOOK (excluding shipping). Imagine that!!!
I can't wait to receive the first two books whose bids I won in the mail. YIIIPPPIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!
Oh, and the other day I made this silly JibJab movie starring Arttu, his two brothers, and his second brother's girlfriend HI HI HI HI HI...Enjoy it!!!
