Writing Challenge: I Kid You Not

I love online silly quizzes and long, serious quizzes. Back at uni days when internet started to be the hot stuff in my hometown, a group of friends and I used to take short, silly quizzes. One of them was "Who's Your Celebrity Match?".

Each of us eagerly did it, wishing to be matched with a cool male celebrity. I remember that one of the questions was about the kind of male underpants that we thought was hot. Funny how it was the only thing that stuck in my mind. I don't remember the other questions at all. Har har...

One friend got Brad Pitt and the others got pretty good matches. And yes, we were all jealous of the one who was matched with Brad, because the others weren't as cool.

Oh, wait, you want to know my result? Well, let me just tell you that his name starts with an F and ends with an O. A five-letter word that makes up his first name. His face is famous for gracing hundreds of romance novel covers back in the 1980s and 1990s.

Yep, you can imagine how much my friends had a laugh at my result. And I did try the test again, altering one or two answers, but the result was still the same. No kidding.

After 18 days of not being able to taste anything much (except sweet stuff), it was such a DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE when I had dinner just now and then realized that, "HEYYYYYYYYYYY...it tastes GREAT and I can really taste the spices, too!"

Ahem...OK let me calm down now a little and also tell you how embarrassed I was today when hubby came back home and I wanted to give him a warm welcome by doing some crazy dance moves. When he came into the entrance hall, I thought he was talking on the phone with his brother, so I continued my crazy dance moves (nothing sensual, mind you, just silly dance moves to make him laugh) and then when he opened the door towards the living room, I FROZE when I saw another head behind him.

 

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHH!!!

He was with a coworker (never happened before) and there I was, doing silly crazy dance moves in front of them. I stopped right away, said hello and then ran towards the computer room HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...

Ahem...bad R2 laughed his ass off after his friend left our place. Bad boyyyy he he he he...

Amel the Woman Pirate + Silly (Adorable) Hubby

Today I tried out the camera on my mobile phone. Before hubby got me this new mobile, I had never had a camera on my old mobiles or anything sophisticated (like Bluetooth, etc.). So I thought it was time for the old dog (me) to learn some new tricks HA HA HA HA HA...

I took several pics in my in-laws' house and I found out that there were several funny frames embedded in the mobile (as you probably know, since most modern mobiles have them, I bet!) so I took one of me as a woman pirate HA HA HA HA HA...Here it is. What do you think? Too bad if I took framed pics, I couldn't set the size up, so it becomes small, but I hope it's clear enough for you to see. I tried contorting my facial muscles so that I looked like a tough woman pirate. Does it work? I hope so HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...




When I tried taking a pic of hubby, he did THIS!!! Silly, crazy, wacky hubby! GRRRR!!!! But he made me laugh out loud HI HI HI HI HI HI...




Funny thing was that I had no USB cable yet for my mobile, so I had to transfer the pics to hubby's mobile since he's got the USB cable for his mobile. We had never done that before, either, so it took us some trial and error before we could finally do it. Honestly speaking, he was the one doing all that. I was just observing HI HI HI HI HI HI...Oh well...
