BFF and LFF

The other night we were getting ready for bed. It had been another hot day. 30'C. We turned on the air conditioner about two and a half hours before our bedtime to make sure the room was cool enough to sleep in. Just as I was getting ready to lie down, sounds came out of hubby who was already lying down on his own spot on the right side of the bed.

PROOOOOOTTTT.

Great.

A few minutes later: another PROOOOOOTTTTTT.

We did our usual bedtime ritual and then came another PROOOOOOOTTTTT.

So I said to him, "I'm going to give you a new nickname. You're my BFF. Big Fart Factory."

He replied casually with his usual calmness, "Oh yeah?"

And then a few seconds later I went PROOT. :-D

So he said, "Okay, then you're LFF. Little Fart Factory."

I replied, "Fair enough."

Freedom Farter

This is a photo of my trusted bike. I bought it second-hand a few years ago from my SIL. Her daughter had outgrew the bike, so it was just lying there unused. I have had lots of fun with this bike, roaming around the village.

The bike makes me feel more freedom, because I can buy some heavy groceries without having to carry them by hand or in a backpack (I don't drive). I also love the fact that most of the time the sidewalk is empty, so even if I feel like farting with all my might, I can do it without being embarrassed because nobody will hear me (and yes, I've proudly done it many times LOL! No need to try to fart half-heartedly, just let it all out without restraint - how I love that kind of freedom! :-D). And most of the time, I can also sing or hum without bothering anyone while listening to songs in my mobile phone playlist (esp. in the early mornings whenever I have morning shifts, it's really a kicker to sing out loud on the sidewalk :-D).

P.S. Photo taken by mobile phone on Jan 24, 2014, temperature -19'C.

P.P.S. The term "freedom farter" was coined for me by a Gateway Woman member with the initials AMcM. :-D THANK YOU!

3BT: Random Days

1. Had another invitation to have a free pap smear test at the local health centre about two months ago and the other week I received the result. Nothing wrong with me. YAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!! Funny that without the test, I wasn't even thinking about the possibility of having any problem down there, but I did get a bit anxious when I opened the result via snail mail.

2. I told hubby that on my free days, I prefer to wake up later and sleep late. He said, "Sleepyhead!"

I retorted, "But it's a good way to spend my free day, don't you think?"

He asked, "Well, in my opinion it's good to spend your free day by doing something that you can't do at work."

I replied, "Yes, I can't sleep at work, so that's one of the things I love doing on my free days. Sleeping in." (roaring with laughter)

Hubby laughed along with me and he couldn't argue back HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...

3. Last night hubby went to bed earlier and when I was entering the bedroom, I realized that it was so silent (I suspected that hubby was awake, because otherwise I'd hear his snore) and the second thing I realized was a bad smell. Yep, hubby had farted prior to my coming inside the bedroom. That set me giggling and hubby turned around to hold me and I said, "Honey, this bedroom stinks. Did you fart?" He laughed along with me...Ah, the joys of fart! :-D

3BT: Random Days

1. Watching the sky gradually turn pink at work. First there was some baby blue colour at the bottom and then it went to soft pink and more pink at the top...the pink colour slowly spread out until the baby blue colour at the bottom was covered by it. And then the sun came out and many people commented on how great it felt to be able to see the sun again. After the sun set again, the sky turned baby blue once more. Ahhhh...so beautiful!

P.S: These two pics I put here were taken a few days ago. Not the best angles, but I just didn't feel like going farther away to take better pics ha ha...

2. R2 was playing some computer game and then I fed him some salmiakki candies and asked, "Do you feel like a king now?"

He said, "Well, now I could use a drink."

I laughed, saying, "Don't you think you're asking too much?"

He shook his head and said no.

I went to get some drink for him and he said thank you, then I asked again, "Now do you feel like a king?"

He said, "Yep, and you're my queen." LOL!!!

3. Had some salted peanuts while watching TV. When we were going to bed, I farted and it smelled like peanuts. Ewwwwww...grossly fun! :-D

4. The moment when someone else laughs/giggles so much until he/she cries and even though you think that the cause of the outburst is not funny, you still want to laugh along simply because the sight of seeing someone laugh that much is so contagious!

5. After freezing days, the temperature went up drastically and I got sweaty just by riding my bike to work. It's always a nice surprise to feel that way!

6.  I saw a very cute animal pic on FB and I was aww-ing over it while telling R2. R2 had no reaction whatsoever. So I asked him, "Okaaaayyy, then what do you consider cute?"

He pointed at me right away. :-D

Love Is...(Our Style)

LOVE is...
Sharing such a smelly fart with your spouse
Which inspires your spouse to sell it as a brand of perfume called "Heaven"
And you think that it's such a brilliant idea

LOVE is...
Ruining a movie plot together
By adding in crazy/unbelievable/yucky/over-the-top scenes
Laughing together
And calling each other "a genius"

LOVE is...
Not minding the sweaty palms
That you hold while watching movies/TV series together

LOVE is...
Going back inside to write a note of warning on the door
When you go out to work and realize how slippery it is outside
To make sure your spouse doesn't fall down

LOVE is...
Telling your spouse "Shit happens" and "It's gonna be OK"
Whenever something bad happens instead of blaming him/her

LOVE is...
Hating the idea of hurting your spouse by doing back coining
Yet always giving in whenever your spouse begs for it
Because your spouse convinces you that it'd help
Even though that means whenever you do it
You always say, "Masochist!" to your spouse

LOVE is...
Pampering each other when asked
And without being asked

LOVE is...
Knowing that whenever your spouse says that you're crazy
It's actually a compliment that shows how special you are

LOVE is....
Forgiving the weaknesses and faults
Because your spouse also forgives yours

LOVE is...
Keeping in touch regularly whenever you're out of town
To make sure that your spouse doesn't get worried
If a phone call is not possible, at least an SMS would do

LOVE is...
Kicking infertility in the ass together
And believing that two is a complete family

LOVE is...
Driving each other crazy at times
Saying sorry sincerely when you've done something wrong
Still saying "I love you anyway"
And knowing you really mean what you say

3BT: Random Days

1. Dancing in the library without anybody noticing. Before the library is open, we have to return the books to the shelves and since I get the kids' section on my own, I can listen to the radio (we always turn it on) and dance to the familiar songs ho ho ho...

2. Farting without anybody noticing. Sometimes I feel gassy at the office and it's pretty hard to have to go to the toilet every time I want to fart, so sometimes I do it discreetly hi hi hi...ahhhhh...

3. I'm going to teach my MIL how to make a blog. It'll be SO MUCH FUN!!!

4. My second project (doing presentation on blogging) is done, but I need to rehearse tonight since there are plenty of computer terms in Finnish that I don't remember well yet. I just hope it's going to be clear enough since I only write down about the basics. :-D

5. Yesterday and today the temperature is way below 0 again, so I can ride my bike. YIIIPPIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!

6. Feeling refreshed after taking a 2.5 hour nap ha ha ha...

3BT: Random Days

1. Watching MIL singing one children's song joyfully while dancing a little hi hi hi...I tried finding the song on youtube, but I haven't found it yet. It's a very fun song! ;-D

2. Hubby scratching my baccckkkkkk a few times on different days. Ohhhh...orgasmic!!! ;-D

3. I had such a gassy stomach the other day and I felt SO satisfied for being able to fart a few times secretly at work without anyone being my "victim" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...It feels GOOD to be able to fart, babbyyyyy!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!

4. Seeing the wicked glimmer in hubby's eyes as he wraps the gifts for me inside our bedroom HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO...What are they, I wonder? Well, I can guess already one of them, but I have NO idea what the other one is hi hi hi...

5. Talking to my colleagues and two of them said that it's good that I'm going to continue my training until 3 months there and that I've been helping them. It's GOOD to feel useful!!!

6. Having encouraging colleagues who voice their appreciation of me. What more can I ask for, right? ;-D

7. Found two used, CUTE pipo (woolen hats) that cost me only €1 each. I needed a new one since I lost my old one!

8. Starting my exercise regime again and feeling my mood lifted up INSTANTLY HO HO HO HO HO HO HO...Plus my trousers start to feel a bit more loose after just exercising twice! The other week I weighed myself and I was at my highest EVER at 48 kgs (remember that I'm only 145 cm and when I first came to Finland, I was only 43 kgs hi hi hi...). I DO NOT want to buy new clothes, thank you very much, so I'd rather exercise more often and cut back on snack he he he he...

Lost in Translation

This morning Arttu woke me up again since I couldn't drag myself out of bed ha ha ha...Not long after that, he laughed and said to me that I made lots of noises last night. He told me that I had snored and farted a few times at the same time during the night. He tried touching me to make me move so that I'd stop snoring. Gladly I did stop snoring once he managed to make me move my position HI HI HI HI...I still CANNOT believe that I snored AND farted at the same time!!! Unbelievable!!!

Today went well. I got plenty of practise again, but I couldn't take a nap even though I'm SO tired. I guess I should just go to sleep early again. Last night I went to be already at around 10.30 pm. Maybe I snored since I was so tired???? Hmmmhhh...I don't snore a lot, though. Well, at least not that I know of HA HA HA HA HA HA...Nobody had ever told me that I snored back in Indo. I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that the air here is so dry or not. Just weird. I used to sleep in the same room as my brother for years, but he never told me that I snored in my sleep (he's an early bird, unlike sleepyhead me).

Oh well...no homework today, but Finnish words and phrases are swimming in my head. It's been like that ever since the course started. Whenever I try to sleep, my brain keeps on repeating the lessons today or what I heard today.

One funny thing about being in an international class is that it's easy to get lost in translation ha ha ha ha ha...I had lunch in the kitchen with the French guy and the Thai girl. Both of them don't speak English fluently. The French guy speaks Finnish pretty well since he had lived in Helsinki for 3 years. When we were talking, sometimes I had to translate what the Thai girl meant to the French guy. My grey brain cells definitely have been working quite diligently these past few days ha ha ha...

Being in an international class also means that you've gotta be good at guessing and reading body languages. Even if you can't understand every single word that someone utters, you need to be able to read between the lines and just take a (sometimes wild) guess.
VERY interesting, challenging, and fun!!! I can't wait to learn more things from the teacher and from my classmates.

One thing for sure, though, if I don't get enough sleep, I'll be in HUGE trouble since I need to REALLY concentrate on listening to either my teacher or my classmates who don't speak much English or who speak more Finnish than English. So I'll still be a sleepyhead no matter what HA HA HA HA HA HA...

Side note: I know what Arttu's going to say if he read my last paragraph. He'll say, "Excuses, excuses..." LOL!!!

3BT: July 4 and 5, 2007

I'm going to wrap two days here he he...

1. Wet socks 'coz it means I've been soaking up the sun by walking on my own two feet and enjoying the heat.

2. Pink-glazed doughnuts. Bought two for myself and my hubby. YUM YUM!

3. Popcorn. We had a big bowl of popcorn while watching a movie together.

4. Farting together at the EXACT same time before we fell asleep. We ended up laughing like crazy. *tee hee*
