3BT: Random Days

1. Me: "I want my Mother's Day caaaaakkkkeeeee!" (a joke based on Creepshow movie where the dead guy demanded to get his Father's Day cake)
R2: "But you're not a mother."
Me: "Awwww shucks...that hurts..."
R2: "That means you can have your cake every day."
Me: "OOOOOOOOOOOHHHH BRILLIANT idea! I LOVE IT!" :-D

P.S. The words "you're not a mother" didn't hurt me at all. :-D WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!

2. I broke my beloved big mug by accident (that I got for free from a flea market owner), was sad for a few days, then went to one of the flea markets here and found a replacement. It was a little bigger and it only cost €2. Here's a pic of it. YEEEEEEEEEEESSSS!!!

3. Being in touch with some new friends via FB. :-D

4. Getting an additional work shift on Sunday due to a coworker being sick. It's nice every now and then because it means getting double per hour. :-D

5. Saying the EXACT same word with hubby at the exact same time while watching a movie.

6. A brilliant ninja fight scene at the cliffs in G.I. Joe movie.

Joke of the Day: S

Yesterday I brought back the bird feeder from the garden to refill it, but on the short walk into the house, I managed to drop the small plastic hook to hang it on the clothing line. I searched everywhere but it was to no avail. It was hard to try to find it in the garden because there were lots of green leaves still on the ground, so I asked R2 for help.

Me: (panicking) "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I lost the hook of the bird feeder! Do you have anything to replace it with?"
R2: "Let me try to find it. What kind of hook is it?"
Me: "It's made of plastic, green in colour, and it is shaped like an S, but it was impossible to find it outside."
R2: "Okay, let me go look for the ass then." (Yep, he did pronounced it ass instead of "S")
Me: (laughing out loud) "You're crazy!!!"

He went outside to look for it, but he couldn't find it, either. I told him that it was WAY too small to find, so he went to the shed and found a bigger hook made of some kind of wire, so today I can hang the bird feeder again. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!! R2 has saved the day by finding a better "ass-shaped" hook for me HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...

3BT: Random Days

1. Kissing hubby by sucking both his upper and lower lips (and in the process getting tickled by his grown moustache) LOL!!!

2. To sit on the carpet in front of hubby's couch while he was sitting there, then looking up and being able to see his nostrils very clearly from that angle. What a view! :-D

3. Booking a spring trip to Rome. WOOHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!! Can't wait!!!

4. Hearing a small boy (perhaps around 5 years old) babble about money to his mother, which made me and a couple of elderly smile because he just wouldn't shut up.

5. A customer saying, "I'll arrange everything so that the barcodes of each item I bought was facing you so that you don't have to turn them. I don't want you to suffer from de Quervain syndrome." AWWWWWWWW...it was the VERY first time someone had EVER done that!!! So heart-warming! :-D

6. The smell of Indonesian potato croquettes being baked in the oven and then after they were done, the taste was just SO heavenly.

7. Me: (jokingly) STOP drinking coffee!
Hubby: (without missing a beat) STOP eating chili sauce!
Me: UGH! That was a sucker punch!!!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHHH...

7. Watching this video:

3BT: Random Days

1. More pronounced autumn colours around me. Such as these:

2. Only a few days to go before our long holiday starts. YEEESSSSSS!!!!

3. A few customers wished me a nice trip and some of them told me that they'd miss me. :-D Bless them! They almost made me wet my eyes at work ha ha...

4. Getting positive feedback from an old lady.

5. A while ago, a different old lady held my hand after our encounter at the till. The deliberate gesture made my heart feel warm. :-D

6. Seeing the little girl's stunned expression when she realized that I was at the store at the time when she and her Dad and little sister came by. She couldn't speak at all for at least 30 seconds after I greeted her. :-D

7. Laughing so much with hubby the other night until we had tears in our eyes. It felt WONDERFUL to laugh like that.

8. Having parents and in-laws (yep, mostly the mothers) who don't try to bend me according to their will nor try to change our decisions. They respect our lives and our decisions and I can't be thankful enough for that.

9. Trying up a new recipe to make buns and adding my own topping out of whim and turned out they were the MOST delicious buns I had ever made in my entire life!!!

10. Eating the hot buns with such pleasure that I had to stop myself to eat more than one at a time ha ha...Note: I put the dough in sauna after we had sauna 'coz it used yeast and it rose so well. Next time I make something like that with yeast again, I should do it after our sauna eve. :-D

11. Listening to some customers joke with one another. :-D

3BT: Random Days

1. Lashing out my anger/frustration in a note in Facebook. Felt SO good ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

2. Laughing, peeing, and farting at the same time - making hubby laugh at the same time. Trust me when I say that the sound of your peeing and farting becomes SO funny when you do it while you're laughing your ass off HI HI HI HI...(Yeah, yeah, I know I'm gross)

3. Meeting a very friendly Finnish guy the other week that complimented my Finnish and wishing me to have a nice Christmas. THANK GOD for friendly people who're not against foreigners living in their country!

4. Taking these pictures:

The above pic is only to show how much snow there is in our building's parking lot (and those two windows with lights are ours).

P.S. That last pic isn't our house. Dunno whose house it was. I went near the river to take some shots and this was one of them he he...so in front of the house is a frozen river.

5. Starting a joke with hubby (I started saying something silly, he continued, then I continued, and so on) and laughing together at our silly sentences.

6. Creating another product at Zazzle:

7. Grateful for hubby's effort in drinking another round of "poison" (read: Chinese fertility herbs that taste and smell yucky).

8. Hubby for making me feel funny, sexy, beautiful, listened to, and cared for despite myself, despite everything.

9. Being able to really scrimp while doing groceries for the past few weeks HO HO HO...ME LOVE IT!!!!

10. Asking hubby something and he gave me a very comforting answer. THANK YOU for being such an easy-going hubby that never pressures me to do anything I don't want to do.

3BT: Random Days

Note: I seem to be getting rather "quiet" in the blogosphere since my training started, but I can assure you that I have had many thoughts running in my head. But I won't share them here yet...maybe later he he...

1. A hot week (or hot weeks to be exact) followed by a rainy, cool week (this week) 'coz that means we can still stay at home comfortably without having to buy a fan or an aircon. Ah...bliss! (Plus cool weather means that sauna feels MUCH MUCH better!)

2. Hubby has been washing the dishes every week without being asked 'coz he knows how tired I am every day (and how I don't want to clean up the house after cleaning all those rooms).

3. Getting a jar of homemade strawberry jam from MIL.

4. Hubby cooking chocolate pancakes to eat with the jar of strawberry jam from MIL. PERFECTTTTT taste!!! (and I didn't even have to do anything BWA HA HA HA HA HA...)

5. In MIL's house, they gave us ice cream and hubby let me take the one he wanted (even though after I noticed that he actually wanted that one and offered to exchange it, he still gave it to me). *grin widely* I just felt SO loved!!!

6. Hubby leaving me the last piece of pancake, even though I didn't ask him to. Come to think of it, he always does that...if there's a little food left, he'd ask if I wanted it or not before he eats it (esp. when it comes to the kind of food that he knows I like). Again I feel SO loved!!!

7. One caring coworker. It's obvious that she was slightly worried that I might not survived (given my shortness, she could guess that doing some things would be harder for me than for taller people). God bless all caring people in the world!

8. I had enough strength and willpower to play Wii Fit+Sports for about an hour on Saturday night. I missed working out. Ever since I started my training, I hadn't exercised much 'coz every time I come home, my feet are so sore that I just don't want to stand up anymore.

9. Laughing with hubby until we had tears in our eyes and until he couldn't speak anymore. :-D

10. Not having a demanding, controlling hubby who tells me what to do. In fact, he always lets me choose my own path. :-D

11. Sharing a joke (the joke was made by R2) with my family in Indo and hearing my Mom laugh so happily on the phone.

12. Not having to be stingy on chili or other instant mixes or Indonesian food that I bought from tokoindonesia.de 'coz I know I'll bring SO MANY things from Indo soon enough to restock the things I've used HO HO HO HO HO HO...

13. Sharing a bar of soft chocolate mouth-to-mouth with hubby and when we got to the middle, we ended it with kisses. ;-D
