3BT: Random Days

1. This funny conversation between two female and a male at a supermarket.

F#1: (tapping the other female's shoulder in front of her) "Good evening, girl."
F#2: (turning around) "Oh, good evening, girl."
M: (behind the two of them) "Evening, girls."
F#1: (turning around) "Evening, boy. Well, we are both girls and you are indeed a boy."

Hint: All three of them were retired HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHH...LOVE a good sense of humour!

2. Hubby went away for a pre-Christmas party with his boss and coworkers and I got a sweet SMS from him.

3. Despite the fact that someone got sick at work and there was nobody else to replace her and it was the day before Finnish Independence Day (when the store got closed), it went very well at work.

4. Our store is closed for Independence Day, so everybody at work definitely gets a day off. :-D

5. Listening to this Christmas song:

Healing Step-by-Step

The other day I was talking to someone and at the end of our conversation online, she said that she hoped that me and my husband would stay heart-to-heart and hand-in-hand until we became grandma and grandpa. It's very common for people in Indo to say something like this.

I replied, "Thanks for your wish, but because we don't have kids, we'll never become grandma and grandpa. We'll just become old honeymooners HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..." ;-D

She replied, "Oh dear goodnessss..." ;-D

Yep, I was in a naughty mood at that time ha ha ha...and no, I didn't feel any pain or grief at all when I wrote my reply he he...I LOVE these light-hearted moments! :-D

I think sense of humour is vital in life and I feel that I'm progressing more in my healing journey when I'm able to make jokes about our circumstances. Humour has definitely helped our marriage in so many ways.

Speaking of humour, I'm reading a book called Bad Karma which is pretty funny he he he...The writer is a man and the main character is a woman who's been turned into an ant because of her bad karma. I bought the book in Finnish, so it's taking a bit more time to read it than reading an English book, but so far it's been pretty entertaining. I've just started reading about her adventures in being an ant he he he he he...

To be honest, I'm simultaneously reading several books at the moment ha ha ha...I'm such a sporadic reader indeed. :-D

Sense of Humour

What makes a marriage last? I don't know. After all, I've only been married for only almost 7 years. I've seen some couples grow apart in their later years. I've also seen couples that stay together no matter what despite the storms within and outside their marriage. I've also seen couples that go their separate ways before their fifth wedding anniversaries.

What I'm sure about is that sense of humour has had a great deal of importance in our marriage. We love teasing each other and we actually kinda grow each other's crazy/wacky sides, so it's "easy" to have fun together. I must say, though, I'm really thankful for hubby's easy-going and calm nature. He's not easily disturbed or panicked or angered and that's been one of the saving graces of our marriage. He doesn't talk that much, but that also means that he doesn't say hurtful words to me and he never reminded me of my mistakes or say bad words to me. I'm THANKFUL that he's never laid a hand on me. I cherish his gentleness and his own calm self. He's not perfect, but time and time again I'm reminded of how "easy" it is to live with him 'coz he brings out the best in me. And that makes me love him all the more as time goes by.

Honey, THANK YOU for being you, for being there, for sticking with me, for loving me, for being patient with me, for making me laugh so much, for laughing at my jokes, for every single day that we spend together...may the Lord keep us hand-in-hand and heart-to-heart for the rest of our lives...

8 Things I'm Grateful For Meme

Crystal tagged me to do this one. THANKS, Buddy!!!

Here are 8 Things I'm grateful for:

1. Being loved. God loves me the way I am with all my brokenness. My hubby and family and closest friends love me the way I am and they always support me. And my blogging friends have also made me feel loved and supported he he he he he...

2. My family, hubby, hubby's family, closest friends, blogging friends. I'm SO rich beyond belief!!! :-D I can share many things with them and I can learn so much from them, as well.

3. Health. Self-explanatory.

4. Random acts of kindness. I've found so many different types of random acts of kindness around me that really makes me feel that this world isn't so broken after all.

5. Sense of humour. Thank GOD for sense of humour! I feel that I can stay forever young he he he he he...

6. Having the opportunity to get some income online by blogging. This is something that never crossed my mind before, so it's a wonderful surprise for me. Plus I wanna thank my fellow blogger friends who're understanding about my need to get some income online - thank you for bearing with me!!!

7. Having the chance to write my heart out to my parents and brother (and hubby, too, during our long-distance relationship) so that if I die today, I won't regret anything.

8. Being able to live my biggest dream, which is living abroad. Plus I don't have to do it alone. I'm accompanied by my sweetest, wackiest, most understanding soulmate. :-))))
