I've just started filling up the Finnish citizenship form. I'm not eligible yet to apply, but I will in March (by then I'll have lived here for 4 years) he he he...so I just want to get prepared so that when the time comes I only need to print it out and bring all the copies of the documents I need and apply for it. The bad news is that starting from this month, the fee to apply citizenship has gone up. ARRRGGGHHHH!!! But that's OK, 'coz at least I have the money for it. :-D
P.S. It took me a while to find out our travel dates abroad 'coz I have to fill in all the trips we made abroad during the time I've lived here (including the trips to Indo).
I DO hope the process isn't too long (though it's said it may take up to 18 months or even longer) - at least I hope I'll be able to get some confirmation before my residence permit runs out (it expires in March 2012 and if I have to renew it to get a long-lasting one, I have to pay 120 Euros PLUS another 20 Euros for the photos). So I DO hope that I'll be able to get the citizenship before that time comes, but we'll see. We'll see...
Yesterday we went to the in-laws' place and we played cards with BIL and SIL until 1 am he he he he he...It was -27'C when I walked to work ('coz R2 picked me up from work to go to in-laws' place), but the sky was GORGEOUSLY pink when the sun started to rise and there was even half a moon shining brightly. And it was really pretty to see sunlight shining the tree tops laden with snow. Simply gorgeous!!! :-D
Nowadays my work schedule is less crazy 'coz I've asked them to reduce my hours, so I have more time doing other things at home. It's GREAT 'coz even though I earn less money, but my life feels more balanced that way. In order to save as much money as I want per month, I only need to budget my grocery shopping more tightly he he he...especially 'coz I want to go to Indo later on (and we're thinking of stopping by in Hong Kong for a few days on the way to Indo) - but we'll see about that 'coz we need to save A LOT of money first (considering the both of us are going there and the plane tickets aren't exactly cheap).
Daydreaming, drooling, planning he he he he...I hope there's no trouble asking an extra week off from work later on (it's harder for me to ask about this kind of thing than R2 'coz the system at work is such that I have to ask directly from the headquarter), so keep your fingers crossed, people!!!
OK, now I'm going to relax for a while under the blanket hi hi hi...take GOOD care of yourselves, friends!

3BT: Random Days
1. Sunshine!!! ;-D

2. Eating anniversary cake at my in-laws' place and then we played some cards. :-D
3. Taking these pictures:

3. Warm socks in different sizes and lengths so that I can wear a few pairs of them if needed.
4. The back warmer I bought is DEFINITELY useful for work purposes 'coz it can get pretty cold there, esp. in the warehouse and near the cold storage and my belly gets cold easily. Plus it doesn't get me too sweaty when I need to be more physically active there. Simply perfect for my needs!!!
5. Talking to my Mom on Skype and chatting with a friend on YM.
6. Finnair bulletin states that they're opening straight flights from Helsinki to Singapore starting from May 2011. WOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
7. Hubby changing his pillow in order to try to reduce his snoring. He even bought a kind of "nose ring" that was advertised to be able to help reduce/stop snoring. ;-D
8. Hubby's hugs and kisses and tender touches. ;-D
9. A long weekend this week, which I'm going to enjoy thoroughly. YEEEEESSSS!!!!!

Weekend With Family: Butterfly Pics + Video Clip
R2's eldest bro and family came over on Saturday, so we went to my in-laws' place and had a beautiful hot day there. The temperature was probably around 22'C but due to the lack of wind and clouds, it probably felt more like 26'C under the sun. The eldest son brought his girlfriend with him and we were all amazed to see the youngest son 'coz he'd grown SO much taller than last year and his voice has changed. Next year he'll probably shock us again with his height he he he he...
Then R2's eldest bro and girlfriend stayed in our place last night. R2's second brother came over as well and we played cards until late ha ha ha ha...
Anyhow, I got the privilege to see some BEAUTIFUL butterflies in my MIL's garden when we just arrived there. Here are some butterfly shots (click to see a bigger version):

Special THANKS to Carena's Designs for the use of Carena Spring Meadow Collection to make this scrapbook page.
And I've managed to take some short video clips of the butterflies in action. I've combined them in this video clip. If you wonder why my hands seemed to be so unsteady, it's 'coz when I zoomed in, even the SLIGHTEST movement would shake the video clip, but I think overall it's a decent video compilation ha ha...
OK, I'll blog hop later. At least I still have some free days before I have to go to work again 6 days in a row he he he...Hope you've had a lovely weekend, people!

So Many Things To Do
Yesterday I started packing so that I'd know how much space I have left. I still haven't bought some stuff yet and I freaked out when I found out my suitcase weighed 18 kg already. OUCH!!! I only have 20 kg baggage allowance and 7 kg of backpack. BUT I do NOT want to lug around a 7-kg backpack (or even heavier than that - my friend says she always carries around a 15-kg backpack when she goes back to Indo) 'coz it's such a LONG journey for me (have to change planes in Helsinki and HK and take a bus to Bandung from Jkt).
So I need to throw some things out and make sure that I bring the more important stuff on board. This evening and tomorrow I'll have the crash course of entrepreneurship and then tomorrow eve we'll probably go to the cabin. Thus it's better for me to write my post today.
---> Almost forgot!!! Ever since we moved here, we've been trying to find where we "hid" the bubble wraps (you know, the kind of bubble wraps for packages?). We searched high and low, but we couldn't find them anywhere. When I took my suitcase yesterday and opened it...voila!!! There they were!!! I was laughing so much and I called R2 right away (he was at work) HA HA HA HA HA HA...SO FUNNY!!!
I still haven't started writing drafts for my blog during the time I'll be in Indo. I also have to start cooking and putting stuff in the freezer sometime next week so that R2 has plenty to eat later on without having to cook.
I've had so many dreams at nights - maybe 'coz my brain is SO active during the day as well, thinking of ideas...brainstorming...thinking of so many things to remember he he he...
Anyway, I wanna show off some more of my latest creations in Zazzle. I think later on I'll create another blog for this purpose, but I haven't got the time yet to do it, so bear with me he he he he he...
The first one ---> the symbols at the back of the shoe was created from the word "Hope". If you click on both, you can view them from different angles.
Okie dokie...I guess I'll be off now to shower and to try to write down some drafts for my blog. See ya when I get back home!!! Enjoy your weekend, people!
Saw this video on Facebook and it's SO touching that I just have to share it here he he...

I'm going MIA!
FINALLY today has arrived! I'm REALLY happy about going to the cabin again. After all, today we're going to change the beds there. There used to be only two single beds there, so whenever we spent a night there, we had to cram ourselves on that little bed hi hi hi...We couldn't turn around at all due to the lack of space. Today we're going to have a Queen sized bed there HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO...
Plus it's the sacred place where Arttu informally proposed to me, so that place's always so special in my heart. *smiles*
So I'm going MIA until Sunday and who knows how tired I'll be then? But I'll try to blog-hop on Sunday, okay? ;-D
Take care, my friends, and hope you're gonna have a RELAXING weekend!

A Shortie
Hi, everybody!
I'm back, kicking and alive, but still feeling a tad tired. I'll only write my story later tomorrow, I think. Good thing that the course's off this week due to school holiday. I have plenty of stories to tell. However, bad thing is that I didn't manage to capture many good pics 'coz we were on the road all the time and the weather was bad (it was hard to take pics from inside the car, too). It was raining all through Sunday (almost non-stop even though we passed by different cities) and then it was SO foggy partly through Monday. Plus we didn't stop long enough for me to take as many pics as I wanted.
We left home at around 8 am on Sunday and arrived in Pori at around 9 pm (we stopped by to eat at some restaurants on the way as well as for pee breaks). Then we slept at around midnight and woke up at 6 am and then we left Pori THAT early. The fog was unbelievable at that time. We made a few stops again along the way and we only arrived home at around 8 pm.
What made us feel SO tired is the fact that other than the long trip back and forth, on Friday evening we went to bars with my hubby's brother and girlfriend and we only came back home at around 4 am. Then on Saturday we woke up at around 10 am and left to my in-laws. There we didn't manage to catch any nap and we came back home at 7 pm already, only to pack and sleep.
One thing I'd love to tell you is that Friday night was the FIRST TIME I danced on the dance floor with my hubby...well, I had a slow-dance with him once, but not fast dance...this time I also did fast dances with him plus slow-dances and I could see how happy he was. I'm telling you that I've NEVER done it before in my life and I've always been a shy person he he he...but seeing his eyes lit up when he looked at me as we danced...it was truly a moment to cherish! I'll tell you more tomorrow. Today I'll just visit my blogger friends' blogs and upload pics and videos so that tomorrow I can copy and paste the codes.
I'm gonna relax the rest of the day...my body's still in grave need of rest. After having sat down in the car for 24 hours...it feels SO good to be able to stretch he he he...
Anyway, the trip went find (gladly) despite the weather, but when I checked my mailbox this morning, there were 40 emails already. Oh dear!!! I was SO swamped he he he...so I'm gonna take it easy today. Sleepyhead me is still a bit light-headed here he he...Hope you're all well and you've had WONDERFUL weekends, everybody!!! CU later!
P.S. To those of you who haven't noticed, I've put up a chat box on my sidebar, so if you wanna say anything to me, you can write there, as well he he he...

A Little Quiz for the Weekend
There are 22 gloves in a drawer (SOOOOOOOO SORRY for the wrong typo, NOT 22 pairs but 22 gloves!!!). 2 pairs are yellow, 5 pairs are white, and 4 pairs are brown. The drawer is in a dark room and you have to take a pair of gloves of the same colour from there. How many gloves in total do you have to take from the drawer at the same time to make sure you'll get the right pair of gloves?
Have a JOLLY weekend, everybody!!! ;-D

Here are my 3 beautiful things today:
1. Hearing news that Dad will be home in 5 days and that my Mom's OK.
2. My own homemade chocolate balls (made of crushed biscuits, rum, a bit of milk, a bit of butter and some melted chocolate and then formed into balls). I haven't tasted any, though, but I can already imagine how GOOD they must be HE HE HEH...LOL!!!
3. It's FRIDAAAAYYY!!! What else can I ask for??? Weekend, here I COME!!! :-D
