No Complaining Campaign

Since it's so easy to complain, why don't we all try to stop ourselves before we can even utter some complaints, shall we?

I understand that it might be hard to do when you REALLY have good, solid reasons to complain, but if they're just "simple" matters, then we CAN and SHOULD stop ourselves from complaining, don't you think so?

  4. I can completely relate to your campaign!! I find myself doing far too much complaining. That's why recently I try to balance a complaint with why I am thankful.

    Complaining is just like other things. There is a place for complaining but when you do too much of it, it really is bad.
    What was the inspiration for your campaign?? (me?? he, he, he)

    Vince: My inspiration was reading Our Daily Bread AND the fact that complaints had slipped my mind more often these days, so I really have to hit the brake and just STOP he he he he he...

    And yes...after hitting the brake, I also need to count my blessings. ;-D

  8. Complaining is good - when reserved for the right times... nothing is all good or all bad!

    Complaining was given to us to use with virtue.. it also stops us from getting trodden all over. If you dont say that you are unhappy with something how is the other person supposed to know..unless they are psychic?

    Complaining is wrong when it is a) excessive and b) when the complainer does nothing to sort the problem out!

    Otherwise, it is healthy to complain a little imho. No one is perfect...

    I complain, but I also endeavour to compliment and I am grateful. Its that little thing called BALANCE.

    Trinity: Yeah, better focus on the good things instead of the bad things. ;-D

    Mrs Arctic Rainbow: I agree with you. We do need to let steam off, but when it gets too much, then it's too much. I just don't want to make it a habit.

    And I'm not saying you shouldn't say that you're unhappy about something valid. I'm only saying that we should refrain from complaining when it's only about the "small" stuff. :-))))
