3BT: Random Days

1. Hubby found himself in an old video (he only appeared for a few seconds), but it was great fun for me to watch his younger self (thinner with more hair LOL!) in the video he he...

2. My period finally arrived before my summer holiday officially started, so that means I'll be period-free on my summer holiday. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!!

3. I didn't have to cook today as hubby had promised to buy some pizza. :-D

4. Went to a bookstore on a (rare) sunny day, found an acquaintance from Indo visiting this place, had a nice chit-chat with him, then I found a very interesting book on a discount (only €2).

5. I was looking for some dance songs to do some exercise at home and then I found this. And yes, I did follow the movements and had a blast HA HA HA HA HA HA...

6. And yes, you've guessed correctly! I did try out the other videos as well (some can be pretty tough for me, but still I had fun trying them out and I got really sweaty LOL!!!). These videos are great for a change compared to other exercise videos he he...

7. Watching funniest moments in Family Feud show in youtube. Some of the answers are hilarious!

3BT: Random Days

1. Been busy with work, but it feels great to reward myself every now and then with these lovely chocolate eggs. Although it's crazy that they've started selling them way ahead of time, I'm glad that they exist ha ha...

2. Going on a walk on a sunny day on my day off. Here's a LOOOONNNGG shadow of mine. Love the sun on my back, warming it up. Oh, and I got to see a pair of squirrels on my walk. So cute!

3. Finding one of the gifts for hubby's upcoming birthday (on a discount YAY!). It's safely hidden somewhere. Now need to find the other gift (still wondering what I should choose).

4. Finding two pairs of cheap jeans (one pair cost €10, whereas the other pair cost €15).

5. MIL helped me shorten those jeans using her sewing machine. Bless her!

6. Working together with hubby to clear up the thick pile of snow on the roof.

7. This sight on my lovely walk:

 8. Fried brain. The other day I was SO tired that I was going to string this sentence in my head, "Oh boy, it's unbelievable that they've started selling Easter eggs already!" in Finnish. However, my slow brain slipped. Instead of forming the word "pääsiäissuklaata" (Easter chocolate), it became "paskiaissuklaata" instead. Pääsiäinen = Easter, whereas paskiainen = bastard/asshole. Ahem...I sure don't need any bastard chocolate eggs HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHH...

3BT: Random Days

1. Every now and then I tease hubby like this:

Me: "Honeeeeyyyyyy..."
R2: "What?"
Me: "I have something important to tell you." (serious face)
R2: "Yeeeess?"
Me: "I have to poo."

ROFL ROFL ROFL...

2. Went to a store today and found kiddies shirt on a discount. Bought two exact same kinds for Ken and his brother (because we're going to visit them next year). I LOVE LOVE LOVE collecting gifts for family bit by bit HE HE HE HE HE HE...

3. Raking the autumn leaves in the yard for about an hour and then took these pics.

4. Finding a forum for childless-by-circumstance women and I've enjoyed it immensely. :-D

5. Saying no without feeling guilty.

6. A coworker asked me how old I was and she said I looked younger than that HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHHHHH...

7. Being able to save more money this month (need to save money to buy our tickets to Indo next year). HALLELUJAHHHHHH!!!

Randomz Babblz

Since this post may be filled with ramblings, I'll just write a list he he he...

1. SO THANKFUL that we've got enough money to book a 2-week trip to Rhodes Island, Greece, next June. R2 has just paid the down payment. WHOOOPPEEEEEEEEEE!!! This will be our first trip ever to that place he he he he...---> We didn't really plan on going anywhere, so it was kind of a spur-in-the-moment decision he he...

Actually we don't know yet what to see, so any tips and tricks if you've been there before? Well, I'm going to browse around later on to find out what things we have to try or see or visit. ;-D

2. Remember what I said about the cheap used books that I bought from the library? Turns out I get a 50% discount since I'm considered a "worker" there he he he...The usual price for an adult book is €1 whereas a children's or teenager's book is only €0.50 (doesn't matter how thick they are or whether they're hardcovered or not).

I've bought 8 books so far WHOOOPEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I figured that I'm going to really force myself to read more Finnish and it's nicer to have my own books at home so I can read in peace without any hurry ho ho ho ho...Plus now I have enough space to put my books since our new apt. is bigger HO HO HO HO HO...

3. Chatted with two of my best friends on different days. It's funny that we have more time to talk online than in real life, especially since some of them have kids already (young kids!!!) he he he he he...So I'm THANKFUL for the internet!!!

4. My mobile bill has gone up a lot since my Mom learnt how to send the SMS HA HA HA HA...Doesn't matter, though as long as we can still afford it. It used to be only €1 a month and now it's gone up to €5-6, but at least I'm having MUCH MORE FUN with my Mom and I get plenty of updates about the whole family's stories. :-D

5. Called my Mom today. I LOVE talking to her!!! ;-D Always has and always will be.

From the emails my friends and I send to one another, I've begun to realize even more how BIG my Mom's influence is on me. She's like the warm, bright light in my life...always supportive and positive, never critical yet always ready to guide me gently if I'm lost. :-D I'm THANKFUL to have her as a Mom.

6. This Friday we're going to load some more boxes to our new apartment. Next week will be busier than ever, since we HAVE to move at the latest on Sunday, February 15th as our ADSL line will be moved to the new apartment that day. :-D

7. My third project at work is going so slowly. There have been many other side tasks I have to do, so I can't focus much on that. Plus it took me a few days to find out what I wanted to do. But I think I can finish it since I still have time until the end of this month. I just hope it will be good enough. :-D

Weekend Recap

So...on Friday afternoon right after I finished work, R2 was already waiting for me in the parking lot. We then went to two different furniture store since we wanted to look around. We bought a lamp for the 2nd bedroom and I bought two carpets. :-D They were all on a discount HO HO HO HO HO HO...

It's funny when we were choosing the bedroom lamp. At first the shopkeeper showed us 6 lamps (she turned them on) and right away I fell in love with the one with leaf patterns. Then she showed us more than 20 other lamps. A few seconds later I said to R2, "I like that one with the leaf patterns back there."

The shopkeeper then asked us, "Is it getting confusing now that there are so many options?"

He then said to the shopkeeper right away, "We'll take that one."

LOL LOL LOL!!! That was FAST!!! It didn't even take 5 minutes to choose hi hi hi hi...What made me happy as well was the fact that I understood what she was saying to us. Even though I still can't understand every single word, but I understand the gist and it feels SO GOOD that I don't need a translator!!!

Anyway, then we started loading the boxes to our car. Remember that we live on the 3rd floor and the new apt. is on the 2nd floor. So it was quite an exercise!!! The temperature was -7'C but we were sweating like PIGS (that we are HA HA HA...)!!!

We unloaded all the boxes we had packed, so now our current apartment is no longer too chaotic. However, today we'll start packing more stuff he he he...Yesterday I showed the pics of our new apt. to my MIL and I'd love it for her to see it herself later on. After all, it's located very near a supermarket that she sometimes visits, so I'm sure she'll visit us someday.

Another funny thing happens between my MIL and I. Since Friday night, I had been craving for a cake to eat while drinking coffee, so Saturday morning we bought one before going to my MIL's place. When we arrived there, turned out she had made a cake earlier since she also wanted one! HA HA HA HA HA...

Moving to a new apartment is SO exciting for me, since this is the first time R2 and I can work together to "design" our new place he he he...Anyway, sorry if I can't still blog-hop and respond to comments as usual. I hope after we settle in our new apartment I'll have more time he he he...Take care, people! ;-D

3BT: September 5, 2008

1. I contacted Helsinki PO again and after sending them more information plus the picture of the Chess Station I ordered (again), they finally sent me an email stating that they're sending the package to Sodankylä. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!

Dad, wait for me to commmmeeee!!!!!!

2. I'm going to meet another friend at her place tonight. YIIIIIPPPPIIIIIIEEEEEE! Girl talk!!!

3. Hubby lovingly put a bandage over my little finger (I accidentally cut myself while opening a package from the PO). Yeah, yeah, of course I could have done it myself and I DID NOT ask him to do it, but it was still nice that he did it for me hi hi hi...I said to him after that, "Thank you, my doctor." *wink wink*

4. Bought a pair of 3/4 jeans on a HUGE discount. The real price was supposed to be €34.95. NO WAY I'm going to buy a pair of 3/4 jeans THAT expensive. Guess how much I paid for them? Only €4.95 HUA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...

5. Having a chat with one of my closest friends who lives in Bandung. THANK GOD for internetttttttttt!!!!!!!!!

6. It's been such a warm and sunny day. After a wet, grey summer, it's a nice change. Plus I can see the stars at night! ;-D

7. Having SO MANY WONDERFUL blogger friends. I've learnt SO MUCH from you guys and girls and you've really enriched my life in many ways!

8. I've been getting opps to write. YIIIHHHAAAA!!! Money, money, money! I'm going to be broke after going back home from Indo, so if I can write more opps during this month, then when I get back home from Indo, I'll have at least a little bit of money still he he he...;-D

3BT: January 8, 2008

1. Finding frozen salmon on sale. It was only about €8.55 per kilogram (normally it would be around €10 and frozen fish is usually around €15-17). I baked it in the oven and it tasted GOOD!!! ;-D This is the FIRST time I could afford buying fish HUE HE HE HE HE HE...so I'm SO HAPPY!!!!!

2. A few seconds ago I received payment already from BuyBlogReviews. What a PLEASANT surprise!!! I wrote my first assignment for them on January 1st, but I got paid already today! I was thinking that I'd only get paid on 15th. THANK YOU SO MUCH, BuyBlogReviews!!!!

3. Making my own risoles - it took me 3 hours. Yes, I'm a slow cook. It took me an hour to make the wrappers - just like regular thin pancakes (flour, baking power, eggs, milk, a pinch of salt). Then it took me another hour to make the filling hi hi hi hi...and to add this and that so that it tasted delicious!!! Then it took another hour to roll them on eggs and bread crumbs and then deep-frying them. But they were SO VERY DELICIOUS!!! This is my first attempt, so I'm SO happy I could make them EXACTLY like I liked them!!! (I'm gonna post the pic later on, OK?)

4. The anticipation rising inside me 'coz I'm going to bring some risoles for my Brit friend tomorrow. I hope she likes it. After all, she likes spicy food and I added some hot chili imported from Holland to the filling HE HE HE HE HE...

5. Being able to play with my Brit friend's pets tomorrow. She has 2 cats, 2 kittens, one puppy, and one dog HE HE HE HE HE HE HE...YAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!

3BT: January 3, 2008

1. Having an even-tempered hubby. He's never been angry as far as I've known him and as long as I've lived with him. He can get annoyed or frustrated, esp. when dealing with computers, but I'm glad he has such a gentle spirit!!!! He doesn't even get angry when I do something stupid. ;-D I don't think I've ever cherished this about him yet, so I'm gonna do it today!!!

2. Hubby giving me more kisses than usual before he prepared himself to go to work. It felt as though he didn't want to leave me HE HE HE HE HE HE HE...

3. Finding oranges on sale again, only €1.09 per kilogram! HUE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE...

4. Finding liquid soap on a bargain: 3 bottles for the price of 2. YEEEEESSS!!!!! The offer was only valid for a limited time frame, so even though we didn't need soap yet, I snatched them right away. I LOVE saving money!!!

5. Hubby nibbling my arm when I shoved it gently near his face HI HI HI HI...I LOVE it when he does it!!! ;-D

6. Being able to manage a book exchange deal with one of my blogger friends. YEEEESSSSS!!! Plus I've got already 4 home addresses of some blogger friends. It feels GREAT to be trusted! ;-D

P.S. I'm gonna be busy baking potato cutlets now for the birthday party, but if I have time later on before the party starts, I'm going to blog-hop. If not, then I'll do it on Sunday since tomorrow morning we'll definitely go to my in-laws again.

3BT: December 29, 2007

1. Hubby waking me up with a HUGE smile on his face as it was SO late already and we were supposed to go grocery shopping first before going to my in-laws. 2. My rashes are almost GONE HUE HE HE HE HE...YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!! ;-D

Note: here there are no Asian stores, so no stores selling egg rolls wrappers...if there are stores selling them, I'd make them myself since I know it'd be cheaper that way he he...

4. I got an even total score with hubby during our card game (we played cards again with my mother-in-law). That meant we were two big losers HA HA HA HA HA HA...At least I didn't have to be ONE big loser, right? *wink*

4. Hubby thanking me for having peeled and served the mango.

5. Finding tank tops and a birthday gift on a 50% discount. YAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!! ;-D

Did You Ever Buy Furniture Online?

What kind of bed do you have at home? Queen Beds, King Beds? This Christmas season reminds me of Santa's sleigh. I don't wonder that some people created sleigh bed because they're inspired by this season. This is the picture of the sleigh bed. Personally speaking, I think it looks very comfortable, don't you think so?

If you're planning to buy living room furniture online, you can visit the link since all the products shown in the picture are on a 50% discount. Comfortable Furniture for Your Home

Newlyweds in Indonesia sometimes still live with their parents or they own their own house. When you first move to a new empty house, naturally you're facing a lot of tasks. Even if the house's finished already (no need to supervise the process of building it), you still need to buy furniture. The most important furniture to have is probably a bed. Then naturally it's best to buy the living room furniture and the kitchen furniture and utensils.

These days lots of newlyweds in Indonesia own a sofa and loveseat in their house. Personally speaking, I love plush leather sofa since it's very comfortable and easy to clean. Plus I can take a nap on it if I want to he he...What kind of sofa do you own at home and what type of sofa do you like?

If you live in the USA and you need some new furniture for your home, you can browse through the furniture catalogs on the site I linked.
I like browsing through this site as you can easily find what you're looking for from the first page. For example, on the first page you can find these options:

a. Shop by Room
b. Shop by Style
c. Shop by Color

They offer free national shipping on all products and no cancellation fee as long as you cancel the order before they are shipped. Other than that, their strong, professional delivery guys are ready to deliver the order to your house (unless otherwise specified) after they contact you first to confirm the time of delivery. And they're having some products on a 30% discount. I LOVE discounted items!!!

I Want One!

In today's digital world, taking pictures is made easy with digital cameras. However, since we don't necessarily print out every digital picture we take, what we need next is a digital photo frame. I found assortments of digital frames in the above website. All the frames in the site are compatible with a variety types of files (JPEG, DivX, MP4, WAV, etc.). You can also enjoy the movie clips you've recorded with your digital camera since the frames are equipped with built-in speakers. Other than that, the digital frames Card Reader can read different types of memory cards. Pretty handy, isn't it?

The digital frames come in different sizes, starting from 7" to 15". All you need to do to transfer the pictures to the digital frames is to plug your memory card to the frame. You can then pick the transitions between pictures and set how long your pictures are going to be displayed. Honestly speaking, I want one of those, please! *grin*

Anyway, the site offers worldwide shipping with affordable prices. If you're afraid of product damage, though, don't worry! By paying a small insurance fee, you can rest assured about your order. Best of all, if you order now, before December 1st, you can get a 5% discount!!! So if you've been thinking of buying one, hurry to the site! You still have a few days left!!! What else are you waiting for?

1. I bought something for someone today. I'm SO excited about it! It's a secret so I can't write it down here he he he he...

3. Saw a mother pushing a stroller and pulling a plastic sled where there are two little kids sitting in the sled. I can imagine myself pulling my own kid while he/she sits in the sled someday he he he he...
