1. Saw a woodpecker outside MIL's place today. It was cold outside (-23/24'C) so I tried taking pics from inside her place, but then it flew away so I had to go out to take more pics and video clips ha ha...

6. After all this time, we're still holding hands while watching movies/TV series together side-by-side on our respective lazy chairs. :-D If I let go too long, he'd complain and would want to hold it back ASAP LOL! I cherish these moments!
7. Getting excited because I start comparing for ticket prices to go back to Indo sometime this year. Have to ask the boss for permission first before we can buy the tickets, but still it's LOVELY to plan this holiday. And I'm GRATEFUL that we have the budget and opportunity to do it.
8. I had a vivid visualisation the other day to handle some emotional battle and it worked SO well that I felt high for a few hours after that. I'll be surely using this technique again whenever I need it. :-D
9. Had a chance to share said technique with other people and hoped that it could help them too (if they wanted to try, that is).
1. Making a decision after thinking about it for a few days and knowing deep in my heart that it's the right call.
2. R2 is unwell now, which is "good" in a way 'coz then when my friends come here for a visit, he is well enough to drive to Rovaniemi to pick them up. Now I only need to hope that I won't catch the viruses 'coz it's been spreading around the village (one coworker is sick and another one started coughing yesterday).
3. FIL has stopped asking MIL, "When's your holiday ending? When are you taking me back home?" and thus MIL can now stop feeling guilty. In fact, when she took her back home for a few hours, he said that he wanted to go back home (to the nursing house).
4. I bought a tiger roll that I had never tried before the other day and it smells and tastes SO good!!!
5. Excitement 'coz my friends are coming for a visit soon (in 10 days). Can't wait to meet them!!! Haven't seen them in about 4 years. ;-D
6. Rubbing R2's cold hands to make them warm and seeing gratitude in his sweet smile. He's such a babe!!! :-D
7. Some of my fave TV series are coming back soon (Good Wife, Criminal Minds). YIIIIHHHHAAAAA!!!!
8. Buying some gifts for my loved ones and also souvenirs for my friends (grateful that I have the money to buy them). :-D
9. The weather's stopped being too hot (the other week it was 31'C three days in a row - which was unusual 'coz usually it only lasted for a day - and we don't have any fan or aircon, so it was really stuffy inside and it was hard to sleep well at nights).
10. Finding a funny manga about a teacher and being able to laugh out loud.
11. Recreating the kind of food that my Mom used to make us. Brings me straight back to the kitchen when she prepared the food for us. :-D
1. Last night it was raining and sunny at the same time. Thus I could see double rainbow again!!!! Magnificent!!!
2. Went to the doctor and laboratory on my own and being able to communicate (and understand) with the staff there to find out what to do next. It feels GOOD to be able to understand!!!
3. EXCITEMENT to get my food/balm package from Germany. Through an acquaintance, I found out about this site: Toko Indonesia. They have SO many things that I've been missing and their price isn't too high, either. I've ordered many things from them and they told me that they were going to send the package to me today. YIIIIPPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!
4. Because of #3, I don't have to ask my friend to buy and send me those things anymore. This way I also have full freedom on how much I want to buy without burdening anybody.

6. Hubby dropping me off and picking me up at the health care centre yesterday 'coz it looked cloudy, so I was hesitant in going there by bike. I appreciate his thoughtfulness in coming home before my appointment just to find out whether I needed a lift or not.
Before I write my usual 3BT post, I'd like to write about a sad event. My friend's baby was born dead and I just can't fathom the depth of sadness he must've been feeling right now...he had grown to love the baby even before he was born (the baby was a boy) and then he died.

I heard one of the most BEAUTIFUL things I'd been waiting for a long time when I spoke to Mom on Skype the other day. My father's stopped having "angry management issues" ever since Ken was born. He keeps on saying that Ken brings him joy and happiness. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was already at my wits' end trying to find out what ways we could do to help my Dad control his bursts of anger...the answer came in the form of a baby. :-))))2. My presentation went well. ---> Of course I had to read my .pps files since I couldn't remember all the long Finnish texts, but still I thought I had prepared it well enough. :-))))3. Receiving positive feedback about my presentation. It feels like I'm a character in a computer game and today I received a "Level Up". :-D4. R2 washed the dishes without being asked. :-D5. Getting my new snow shoes. I hope we can go downhill skiing again tomorrow. :-D 6. Talking to my Mom. I know I'm repeating myself in my 3BT posts, but I just want to cherish her as much as I can. She's truly something!!! I LOVE the way she supports me and the way she doesn't pressure me. I LOVE the way she understands my situation. She even said that I shouldn't send her SMS too often if I were too busy ('coz she knows I'm doing the training and the Finnish classes now). 1. The other day R2 not only cooked pizza for us (he made the dough, the mince meat/tomato pureed topping), he also did ALL the dishes after we ate (we have no dishwasher!!!). I only helped spread the toppings he he he he...THANK YOU, Babyyyy!!!
2. This morning I saw TWO little squirrels in the trees (they kept on moving about and chasing each other) in front of our apt. building.

5. Being able to send SMSes to my Mom. My brother bought her a mobile phone and now she's learning to send SMSes to me. The first SMS she sent me was a BLANK LOL LOL LOL!!! The second one, she only wrote one word. After that she could send me "proper" SMSes, though she writes without a dot or a comma HA HA HA HA HA HA...At least it's now easier for me to contact my Mom in another way than just using Skype.
6. Heard from my Mom that my brother and Shen (his wife) are going to buy a car on a loan. Since my bro works in a bank, he can get a loan with a lower interest rate. So next year they're going to have a car. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY!!! I'm SO happy for them!
7. EXCITEMENT to start my training next Monday. Gimme lots of job to do, please HE HE HE HE HE HE...
8. Dreaming of owning our own place (apartment or small house). GLAD that R2 and I are on the same page. Though we don't know when we can make it come true, still it's nice to daydream hi hi hi hi...
9. The other week R2 visited his cousin's place from work. When he was there, his cousin's daughter (I think she's 4 years old) was asking about me. This time she remembered my name HI HI HI HI...I think that's SO SWEET!!!
1. Having warm-hearted in-laws that always accept me as who I am and they never make me feel like a stranger. They never get involved in our affairs and they always accept our visits lovingly and warmly. I LOVE the homey atmosphere I always feel when I'm there. The house is never filled with angry voices or criticism. Instead, it's filled with laughter and comfort.
2. Having a hubby that never raises his voice at me. This morning before he left for his trip (I was still sleeping - BLESS him for accepting me for who I am!!!), he left me a love note. It's been a while since he did that and I was secretly hoping that I'd get one this morning...and I DID!!!!!! HURRAHHHH!!! ;-D
3. A few times hubby warmed my foot up with his big hand (my shoe size is only 35-36) when he realizes that it's rather cold. Mmmmm...I LOVE it when he does things for me when I don't ask him to do!!!
4. My own family (my parents and brother and his wife) always support me. My Mom even supported our going to Singapore even though that meant that our time together in Bandung would be shorter. What would I do without them, without her?
5. Found out from Mom when I called her yesterday that my brother's wife's Dad has volunteered to take us to one mall in Bandung at around 4 am later on to catch the bus to go Cengkareng Airport when it's time for us to go to Singapore. He's not even my Dad, but he volunteers to do it for us???????? GOD BLESS THAT MAN AND HIS FAMILY!!! My brother's LUCKY to have in-laws like that!!!
6. Missing hubby. It is good that he's away like this for one day...so tomorrow I can run to the door and shower him with kisses and wag my tail HE HE HE hE HE HE HE...
7. Hearing birds chirping loudly outside this morning. The sound was so loud and clear.

YESSSSSS!!!! Now the flight AND hotel room in Singapore are confirmed already. Phew!!! I feel a HUGE load off my shoulder, esp. because the hotel room is within our budget, so I don't have to cut off the budget for other things. (Yeah, I'm a budget freak ha ha...)

This evening we're going to my in-laws for the last time before we fly to Indo. Arttu needs to change his tyres with winter tyres, since when we get back to Finland, it'll surely be the beginning of winter already. We're going to drive to Rovaniemi and leave the car in the airport car park.
Now we're ready to flyyyyyyyy awayyyyy...but before that, I have to go for my Pap Smear test this afternoon. I'll write about it when I get back ha ha ha ha ha ha...
1. I'm VERY impressed with Paypal. Last month I won a bid on ebay, but the seller never contacted me nor sent me the item, so I filed a dispute after waiting for some time and after trying to contact the seller a few times. It's said in Paypal that it usually takes about a month to process a dispute. Today I received a decision already. They said that they'd refund the money fully in a few days. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!2. Visited a store with my Thai friend after our class and bought three T-shirts and two shirts and only paid a grand total of €25 HUE HE HE HE HE HE HE...Two of them are for my Dad, two for my brother, and one of them is for R2. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE saleeeeeee!!!3. Finally I've had time and energy to do Tae-bo again. My stamina was not as bad as I had thought (I hadn't been exercising for a few weeks now), though it feels SO GOOD to be able to exercise again HO HO HO HO HO...4. I bought some marmer cake today from Lidl HO HO HO HO HO...I LOVE its chocolaty flavour MMMMMMMMM...5. 1. Both of us saying the EXACT same words at the EXACT same time and we ended up laughing together. 2. Another MIRACLE happening yesterday. A friend of mine living here (a British woman and her family) called me to tell me about a basic Finnish course for foreigners. It starts next month. She's SO SWEET to have thought of my possibly not having received a letter about that particular course and she volunteered to call them to register the three of us (herself, her hubby, and me). HALLELUJAH for God's ANGELS on earth!!! HALLELUJAH for His divine intervention so that there is finally a Finnish course in this little village. (Side note: Do you know how LITTLE is the chance for anyone to organize a Finnish course for foreigners in such a little village like this???? Almost zit!!!).3. The EXCITEMENT bubbling inside me for I'm enrolled in the course (my friend confirmed to me already about it last night - usually they only provide limited seats, so I'm HAPPY I'm in!!!).
