Yesterday I went out to the library to seek the manager (to find out whether I could do any training there orn ot). Alas, she has a week off this week, so I can only meet her next Monday afternoon. So I have to wait until then. There is another store looking for a trainee, but I'm more interested in training at the library. If I can't do the training at the library, then I'll try asking that store next.
Anyway, when going home, I went to a clothes store to see if I could find Christmas gift ideas. Instead, I found self-pampering gifts HA HA HA HA HA HA...Why not pamper myself a little on our anniversary, right? ;-D
I wanted to buy R2 a pair of new gloves, but I'm not sure about the size, so better bring him later on to see what kind of gloves he wants and if the size fits or not. It sure is not fun wearing gloves that are too big or too small!!!
Wanna know my self-pampering gifts? Here they are: a pair of new gloves and two packs of mud mask!!!
As you can see from the pic, the gloves are size 7-11 (years old) HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...I wanted to buy another colour, but there's only one colour available. The adults' size is TOO big for meeeeee, so I decided to buy them nonetheless.
Then here are some pics of lovely birds (Mrs Arctic Rainbow told me that they're called WAXWINGS) taken from my balcony. Next time I go downtown I should bring my camera since it's better to take pics of the birds from a closer range so that I can take GREAT pics of them close-up using my zoom he he he...I LOVE the yellow and red feathers around their tails! ;-D
love ur birds shots, Amel.
ReplyDeleteI am sure you enjoy your new digicam :D
It sounds like you had a great day.
ReplyDeleteI love your gifts to yourself. Hee, Hee

ReplyDeleteI like the gloves and mask too. I'm often putting face masks on, I love how my skin feels and glows afterwards.

ReplyDeleteAmel, after looking at the last 2 pictures, have you already been getting snow??
ReplyDeleteJul: Glad you liked them, but I still think I should have gotten out closer to the trees to get a closer-up pics he he...
ReplyDeleteLori: Yessss, it was a lovely day! ;-D
The World According to Me: Yep, it was a nice surprise for me to see them frolicking nearby our apt. building he he he...

ReplyDeletenice gloves, amel... i did it too...seek a gift for myself :D
ReplyDeleteHi Amel..
ReplyDeleteThe birds in your pictures are called Waxwings. They LOVE the Rowan tree berries! :D They are gorgeous arent they!
I've had a lot of Blue Tits or Great Tits (known as Chickadees in some parts of the world) around here of late..(can't tell which as they move so quick!) They dont migrate, so they will be back..
I am hoping the food on the balcony will entice them! It's nice to watch the nature here...
Love Michelle x
Those gloves are lovely and they do look like they're keep your warm.
ReplyDeleteLove the bird photos and the gloves look really warm.
ReplyDeleteI sympathise with the size and colour thing - I can only wear children size socks (I take English size 3 shoes). When I get sick of cute pink girl socks I buy boy's socks. ;-)
La Delirante: LOL LOL LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteJeanne: Yes, it feels good to do so, right? ;-D
Mrs Arctic Rainbow: THANKS for telling me the name of the birds. Yes, they're GORGEOUS!!! ;-D
Blue Tits? LOL LOL!!! Looking forward to seeing them someday! ;-D
You're right...watching nature here is FUN! ;-D
Blur Ting: Yep, they're very warm indeed! ;-D
Michelle: You experience the same thing, too? Ohhhhhh yesss...that's a GREAT idea to buy boy's socks HE HE HE HE HE...
Oh my Amel what lovely pictures. and those gloves will come in very handy.
ReplyDeleteThere's just something about a tree whether it's due to winter time or if it's dead....that fascinates me when they have no leaves on them.
I love to look at all of the branches!!
Great shots Amelia!!:-))
love the bird shots and gloves are a good thing no matter the color. Great post
ReplyDeleteShinade: I also LOVE dead trees with no leaves on them HE HE HE HE...
