OK, here's a pic of the front gate of the amusement park.
Next pic: We bought this type of band in order to get on all kinds of rides. As you can probably see unclearly, it's for people who're over 120 cm ha ha ha ha...Hey, at least I AM over 120 cm HI HI HI HI HI...
The first thing we tried was that red "Fun House" next to Kummitus Juna (Spooky Train). Well, we ended up going to the Kummitus Juna, but it was really NOT spooky ha ha ha...
At the end of the Fun House there was this huge slide where we had to sit on a carpet and then push ourselves down. My heart LEAPED out of its socket when I slid down...Gee, I must've been getting old already!!! I used to LOVE slides!!!
Next pic: No further introduction needed ha ha ha ha...
Next pic: This group of musicians who dressed as clowns went around the park to play some music for us. Mmmmm...
Next pic: Want to kiss? You can get inside this Kissing Booth or Pusukoppi in the park HA HA HA HA HA HA...I joked to Arttu about getting in there, but he wouldn't do it HI HI HI HI...
Then we took a ride on the "tower". Well, there was this small capsule where we could sit and then the capsule went up slowly so that we could take a view of the whole park and some parts of Helsinki. At the top of the tower, the capsule turned around a few times slowly.
Next pic: See that wooden ride? Arttu and I and the kids took that ride. I couldn't even scream, even though my mouth was WIDE open whenever it went down SO fast hi hi hi hi...Phew!!! We could hear screamsssssss during the entire ride. After it was over, I said to Arttu, "My heart leaped out of its sockets."
He said, "Yeah, tell me about it. Mine did it too!!!" LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!
Next pic: A view of Helsinki from the tower.
Next pic: I found it funny that such a thing existed in the amusement park ha ha ha...
Next pic: Posing while waiting for the kids to get on a crazy ride. We didn't dare do it!!!!!
Almost forgot...the one thing that really made me impressed was when we went to a 4D cinema in Linnänmäki. We had to put on a special pair of glasses (THANKFULLY the glasses weren't red and blue like what people use to watch a 3D movie - that type of glasses made me DIZZY and nauseous!!!). The video was short, but it was NOTHING like 3D. The effect made us feel as though a distant object was coming VERY near to us.
The crazy thing was that at one part there was this snake who was coming towards us from the "back" and it felt as though it was RIGHT in front of our faces. The kids were SCREAMIIIINNNNGGGG when it happened HI HI HI HI HI... SO MUCH FUN!!! I HIGHLY recommend this as long as you have no heart problem he he he he...
One time we went our separate ways (I mean from the kids - they had mobiles, so we could call them later on). We went to Sea World (we had to pay a different fee, but since we had the band, we got a discount).
I took some short video clips in Sea World since it was hard to get a good picture. How do you take a solid vivid picture in such a dark place where you couldn't use flash? Tell me, please!!! I have a digicam where I can set the aperture and stuff manually, but I don't know what I should do he he he...
It may take a while before the videos upload themselves here since I've just uploaded them, so you can try again tomorrow if you can't view them yet.
First video: NEMO!!!!!!
Second video: Jellyfish!
Third video: SHARKS!!! Or should I say "Jaws"? LOL LOL LOL!!!
Fourth video: A funny water fountain in the park.
Last video: This isn't about Helsinki, but I took this short clip while we were in Pori and we were walking towards the park where Pori Jazz Festival was held. There were so many stands there he he he he...
OK, I think that's more than enough. Time to go back to my Vagabond comic HI HI HI HI HI...Have a BLESSED weekend, everybody!!!
That sounded fun. Amusement park has always been fun for me, till I grow older. Then even Disney is no longer the happiest place on earth.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun! I love amusement park. When I was in a roller coaster or anything that spinning and going up and down so fast, I couldn't even scream ha ha! I wanted to, but all that came out were "ooohhhh..." LOL! I think I was trying to control my breathing ha ha ha...
