I stumbled upon this page and it made me nod and nod and nod and nod so I just want to share it. It's written by a Christian author. I'm warning you now just in case you're one of those people who don't want to read Biblical references and stuff like that.
It has something to do with this verse:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear…
1 John 4:18 KJV
Here's the page: The Answer Is Love.
that is true... but fear amelia, sometimes one can't avoid that and no matter how true love is, I only hoped it was true...
ReplyDeleteThat was very interesting. Thanks Amel. I liked this bit the most:
ReplyDelete"I thought “perfect love” referred to my loving others perfectly. I was now beginning to see that perfect love was God's love for me"

ReplyDeleteOf Fly Catchers and hidden lakes.
Of sleeping lizards and morning dew.
It is of birdsong and misty dawns
and fleeced clouds floating in a still pool.
The waters ripple awake in the gathering morn.
The first water birds head out for the far shore.
Shan: Do you mean true love in the sense of a human-to-human relationship or God's perfect love to us?
ReplyDeleteMichelle: Glad you enjoyed it. Yep, I also loved that sentence. :-)))
Poetry: Hmmm...I have no idea what your poem had to do with my post, but I LIKE it. THX!!! :-)))
I mean human to human relationship
ReplyDeleteSure true love exists, but it takes HARD work from both parties. :-))))
ReplyDeletehehehe, I'll keep that in mind. I recently bought a book called Love and Limerence by Dr. Tennov. Very good read hahaha
