A Thanksgiving Gift + Explanation

Mel Kaye gave me a Thanksgiving award he created himself. WOOOHOOOOO!!!! The badge is SO VERY CUTE and I adore it! ;-D THANKS, Mel!!! THANKS for having been my friend, as well! I enjoy reading your blog! ;-D

I wanna pass this around to everybody on my friends' list. THANKS SO MUCH for having been my frieeennnddssss and HAPPY Thanksgiving to those celebrating it! ;-D

I need to explain something about my other post entitled "My Awards". I created that post since I wanted to make my cluttered sidebar look simpler. Thus I had to create that post so that I could link it to an icon in my sidebar he he he...And as you can see, now there're no more award icons in my sidebar. ;-D

Trinity has helped me with the blogroll scroll HTML codes last night, so I'd like to THANK her personally for this and for her blogging tips. ;-D

Last night I tried the recipe to make cakue (an Indo snack) and this morning I deep-fried them and I MADE IT!!! I'm SO happy 'coz it was my first try and it went VERY well. I'm not so bad after all HUE HE HE HE HE...

OK, now I need to do some other stuff first before coming back to take care of my blog. Have a BLESSED Sunday!!!

  1. Hey Girl,

Congratulations for you award!!! It is indeed one of the cutest going around the blogsphere :)!

You have been tagged for a most feminine meme:

  2. Again, CONGRATS, Amel!!! Return thanks to you... :)

Hey, I know that 'cakue'. We call them 'cakui' can also spread some butter with 'kaya'(pandan+ coconut+egg)in between.

  3. Choc Mint Girl: THANKS and MY PLEASURE, Crystal! ;-D

Cakui? LOL LOL!!! eat it with butter and kaya in between? Won't that taste weird? It's interesting how people eat the same type of food in different ways he he he...

  4. LOL!! Actually, we do put them in the porridge as well...he he he he...

  5. Choc Mint Girl: HA HA HA HA...OK then!!! You know what's funny? I cooked chicken porridge the other day, but hubby said it tasted weird. It's 'coz here in Finland people eat porridge with a dash of cinnamon and a sprinkle of sugar!!! :-D

  6. Wow! Congrats for your cakue.. haha.. now you can try to make bubur kacang hokian just like at GOR pajajaran! It's really easy..

  7. Kasper: THANKS, Dawn!

Trinity: Yup! I felt SO happy that I could make cakue. And hubby loves it, too! ;-D Bubur kacang Hokian? Never tried that, unfortunately he he...I've only tasted my Mom's bubur kacang ijo ha ha ha...
