1. Received an unexpected letter and early b-day card from one of my best friends who doesn't have an internet connection. She also sent me some pics of her son. She was the one whose pregnancy I followed through from the beginning. She was the one that made me TRULY feel that pregnancy is a MIRACLE. ;-D She also sent me a book marker with a wonderful friendship quotation on it. ;-D This is such a NICE surprise!!!!!!!!!

2. Finding some cheap stuff at the flea markets (for me and for a gift) he he he he...

4. Searching for some apple cake recipes to make this Friday for Father's Day (for my father-in-law on Saturday). The anticipation is brewing inside me...I sure do hope it'll turn out okay ha ha ha ha ha...

  1. Your good friend is so kind and sweet! Hope you find some good stuff at the flea market. They rarely exist here in Singapore. Hope your meat cooking & apple cake adventure are both a success!

  2. Oh, I must tell you this. When I was in Holland years ago, we went to this big restaurant that sold Chinese and Indonesian food. They had Gado Gado! I kept wondering why Indonesian food is so popular in Holland.

I hope your apple cake turn out wonderfully. Have you tried apple crumble? That's nice too. and apparently not too difficult to make.

Blur Ting: He he he he...it's only natural 'coz the Dutch occupied Indonesia for 350 years. Yeah, that's right. Three HUNDRED and fifty years he he he...So in Holland there are SO MANY Chinese and Indo food and spices. ;-D

Apple crumble, eh? Well, I found some recipes so I THINK I'm gonna combine it. Not sure yet if I'm gonna make a cake with crumble on top or with frosting or both. We'll see he he he he...
