How Would I Spend One More Day with Someone I Loved and Lost?

Arlene tagged me to do this meme. Hmmm...Both my parents are still alive and I was never really close to my grandmothers and grandfathers, so I think I'd love to spend one more day with my Pappy. To read the complete story about my Pappy, go here (read number two).

What I'd do with him? I'd ask him if he wants to do something with me and then I'd also ask him about my childhood. He was there for almost the first 4 years of my life, so I'd love to know what I did and how naughty I was he he he he...

Then I'll also tell him about everything I've done and how happy I am right now and I'll also tell him about his sons and that his family is well and happy, too. Basically speaking, I just want to have a LONG talk with him.

Oh...and I would also ask him how heaven is like HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE...

I'm not going to tag anyone, but if anyone is interested in doing this meme, by all means, go ahead!!!

  1. I think he would be very proud of you and I think he would love your new hubby. I have always thought they could see you from heaven and they know all cuz they see all.HE!! HE!!! hopefully they are not watching those private moments HA!! :) hugs & smiles to you

  2. I would spend it with my great-grandmother who passed away a few years ago.... I love her dearly and she was the strongest, most amazing person I have ever known. Her faith in God was remarkable as well.

I'd make Lefse and Rosettes with her (she was a full-blooded Swede, I am only a 1/4 Swedish) and I'd just listen to her talk about her childhood and about raising a family and about her life... That's what I would do.

  3. hi amel...what a wonderful plan! :)

    thanks for doing the tag.

    have a nice day!

  4. It may be too busy in heaven for a long talk though.

  5. He he he...(Mother Hen)

If only we have the privilege to wish for something like this... ;)

  6. Stacy: HE HE HE...THANKS and LOL about the private moments ha ha ha...HUGS to you too! ;-D

Katelyn:'s always a WONDER to see a woman so strong with a remarkable faith in God. I'd love to meet her, too. ;-D So she's a full-blooded Swede, eh? Interesting!!! ;-D Yeah, it's always nice to be able to learn important things from the elderly. ;-D

    Sunshine4Life: UR welcome!!! ;-D

Mother Hen: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...Why is it too busy in heaven? ;-D

Choc Mint Girl: Yeah, if only he he he he...
