Memories From the Past: Schooldays

Let's reminisce again, shall we? I have a funny story to tell about my brother. I'm glad he doesn't read this blog 'coz I think he might kill me if he reads this one ha ha ha ha ha...But first, let me tell you about me.

The other day my closest friends and I talked about our first crushes. One of them had a "boyfriend" when she was as young as 6 years old. I told them that my first crush was probably when I was around 7 or 8 years old. I was still in Elementary School back then and we had two 10-minute breaks during the day or one 20-minute break (they changed the system during the time I was there). As usual, kids would play and run around the school yard. When I had a crush on that boy, I used to suggest playing cops and bandits. I LOVED playing as a cop since I ran pretty fast and then I could catch the bandit (the boy I had a crush on) by hugging him HI HI HI HI HI HI HI HI...Ahem!!!

It was an innocent hugggggggggggg!!! And of course he didn't mind it since it was a game and the cops were supposed to catch the bandits by hugging them, OKAY? That's the rule HI HI HI HI HI HI...Doh! Who am I trying to convince here? LOL!!!

Anyway, do you remember your VERY first crush? How old were you back then? Do you remember his/her name? I still remember the boy's name and his face, though he's probably changed A LOT now that over 20 years have passed by he he he...

Now on to my brother...unlike schools in America, in Indonesia the teachers come to our classrooms, so we stayed in the same assigned classroom all through the school year (except for university students). Most teachers disliked it when the students asked to go to the toilet, since it bothered them, I guess. Usually they only allowed one student or two to go to the toilet, but no more. One time my brother's teacher was unhappy since one student after another asked for permission to go to the toilet. Then she stated in front of the class, "I will NOT allow anyone to go to the toilet during MY lessons. Period."

Being an obedient student, my brother obeyed her. However, one day during the teacher's lesson, a girl sitting next to my brother yelled at the teacher, "Teacher, teacher, he peed on the floor!" while pointing to my brother.

The teacher was shocked, but then she came closer to inspect the situation. She immediately asked my brother to tell my Mom that she had to go to school to have a meeting with her hi hi hi hi hi hi...

You know what she said to my Mom? She said that when she went to inspect my brother's desk, she realized that my brother's pants were dry, yet the floor WAS wet HA HA HA HA HA...And she said that she was sorry for having told them that she wouldn't allow anyone to go to the toilet during her lessons. Oh dear...Actually, my brother had done the act more than once already, simply to obey the teacher hi hi hi hi hi...Ain't he something? LOL!!!

Now I hope after publishing this post, this blog will still be considered family-friendly HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE...

  1. Hello girl!

Yes, I still remember my first crush: I was 12, and he was my classmate (he sat right behind me in class). He also had a crush on me, so things were so cute. Our Portuguese teacher used to say "kids we are not in Spring time yet!" and the whole class would laugh, but we didn't care lol.
Of course I still remember his name, it was a gorgeous greek name: Dionysius! He was so cute for his age (14), cause boys usually are ugly between 13-15, but he was actually cute...
I didn't play games with him, instead we used to talk a lot; and go home together...and that was about it (it was all very platonic) lol.

LOL LOL your brother is quite interesting indeed. But how come his pants were dry? I mean was he wetting the floor through another method? It has been done LOL just to mess with the teacher LOL...
If it was the case he taught her a lesson LOL...

    I think that this post is family-friendly LOL....still...lol :)!

I loved this post (brought back some cool memories)!

    Cheers

Well, actually my Mom came home from school after the meeting and asked my bro how he had done the "deed", and he said, "It was easy. I only needed to take IT out and peed on the floor." HUA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...

  5. Hi!! Great post! I still remember my first crush: I remember he was embarrased because he had swallowed one of his teeth (we were about 6 years-old) when eating pizza :) The whole school knew about it and I stopped liking him because of that :( How silly I was :) His name is Carlos :)

Oh...that was another nightmare for a kid :) to pee in the classroom :) A couple of my classmates did it :) one of the girls peed on the lap of a teacher! I still remember her face (teacher's) :)

    Have a great day!!

  6. I don't remember my first crush, but I do remember one that I had. It was in the sixth grade and was with the most popular girl in our class. I, however, was not the most popular guy in our class and when I verbalized that I liked her, she then treated me like your common everyday leper. I can laugh at this at 52 but at 12, it wasn't as funny.

Now the story of your brother reminds me of a joke the Unknown Comic said to Chuck Barris on the Gong Show: "I heard you used to wet the bed-from the hallway."

  8. I know the game, Amel!!! But we called it "police and thieves" instead he he he... Usually, the boys would cheat when they became the 'thieves' because they would take off their school uniforms, so, it was difficult to catch them as they would sweat all over!!! Then, we set some rules about it he he he...

My first crush could be when I was 7 at my new school. I just like to look at one of the boys from the other class. He's not cute, but handsome... LOL!! However, I couldn't remember his name, though he he he... because we've never get acquainted, but we always bumped into each other and exchanged smiles, which was not intended ha ha ha...

Hey, I wonder how your bro. did 'that' without anybody noticing ha ha ha...
