My Comfort

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:2-4).

We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance [produces] character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us (Romans 5:3-5).

O LORD, ... be not silent. Do not be far from me, O Lord. Awake, and rise to my defense! Contend for me, my God and Lord. (Psalm 35:22-2)

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe. (Philippians 2:14-15)

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

  7. Kathy: Yeah, I was in dire need for those kinds of verses 'coz I started to have some fear about my future he he he...

Blur Ting: There's a Chinese version, too? I didn't know that.

Choc Mint Girl: HA HA HA...so you love it, too? I know that lots of women/girls will love this kind of romantic series he he he...

Blur Ting again: Yeah, the girl (long hair) and the boy met in High School and fell in love with each other, but then the guy got hit by a car and we all thought he was dead.

Fast forward a few years afterward...the girl has short hair now and the guy's hair is dyed. Turned out the guy's mother took him to America and he got amnesia, but he didn't die...he came back to Korea and they fell in love with each other again. But the course of their love wasn't smooth AT ALL as the girl had a fiance already by the time she met the first guy. It was winding and the ending was happy but sad 'coz in the end the guy lost his sight, but they were together again.
