Downtown Sodankylä: Pictures and Video Clips

Yesterday I went downtown to look for a second Christmas gift for hubby since he's prepared two for me. After browsing around in several stores, I finally found something on a 50% discount HUA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...Guys, don't wonder why sometimes it takes a LONG time for girls to shop. They need to compare and contrast, esp. when they a tight shopping budget HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...So don't fret, OK? LOL LOL!!!

Anyway, I managed to snap away some pictures on the way to the stores and I also made a few video clips for you to enjoy. The sky was ABLAZE yesterday. It was a sight to behold...mmmm...

In the below pic you can see the snow tractor that comes every morning to get rid of the snow from the main streets and the car parking lots around or near apartment buildings.

ARRRGGHHH!!! Blogger has refused to let me upload some more pictures, so I'm gonna cut this short and publish it first then. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Below is an unclear video of our car ride last Saturday. I know it's not too clear, but I just wanna show you how it feels like being here when it's dark already with all the Christmas lights he he he...

This second video is a short one of a moving Santa ornament in one of the stores I saw yesterday he he he...I also happen to LOVE the snowman doll in this video clip.

  4. Kathy: Yeah, it does. Since it gets dark a longer time here than usual, the Christmas lights and decoration really make everything look nice. ;-D

  6. Lovely sky! I always wonder why we don't get that in indo, too many building covering the horizon I suppose - the sky here always feels wider but closer...dunno why...

Fei: These days the sky here has been VERY VERY pretty. Sometimes it's pinkish near the horizon and then very light blue all over...right now it's very very blue all over...oftentimes it's just cloudy white, though he he he he...I LOVE the fact that the sky here can change colours often during the day. ;-D

Yeah, unfortunately in Indo there are too many buildings covering the horizon.
